Man you are a real artist with an amazing eye for small details. I’d love to have a guitar made by you someday when I can afford one, the craftsmanship is second to none and the ability of making guitars that look better than the Gibson custom shop and even making a new guitar look 50 or 60 years old is amazing.

You really nailed every part of the build starting from the making of the guitar all the way to the relic, such a great job

I’m actually relicing some covers right now haha Have you stop using photo fixer to imprint the color of the patina? For what I could see the you just let the patina dry out and because of the previous ferric oxide effect it kind of reacted with the patina and the you just removed the patina, am I right?

I did an LP and it was tedious, and incredibly time consuming. Lots of research, and jig making. With so many steps there is a lot that can go wrong if you get in a hurry. At one time I had to set the project aside for several years until I got free time.

You made your own aluminum tailpiece? Can you tell us how you did it?
@8BombCustom3 жыл бұрын
Yes. While I am still working on reducing the cost of technology. I will share the intricacies of the process on Patreon. www.patreon.com/8bombcustom

It's nice that you made your hardware rather than using vintage, or production parts. Details.

Takes way too long. Just buy Antique metal solution. It darkens metal giving it the vintage look in 10 minutes.
