Im new to the game how do you know if a card is Mythic or Common or Rare ?

If its a card printed in the last 25 years, it'll have an orange/red set symbol for Mythics and yellow/gold set symbol for Rares. Also, for cards of the last 15 years, down at the bottom of card where the number is you'll see a M/R/U/C/L/S code
