Keep in mind that Graham was sitting on that favor throughout the game, every time Jimmy started a dictate chain he could have called in that favor to save his boardstate, instead he just takes it, bides his time, flies under the radar, top decks the right card at the right time and wins like a boss.

a little late but jimmy doesn't owe graham a favour anymore when he decided to destroy that library-to-graveyard card (yes, i forgot the name). a favour would mean letting jimmy activate that ability when he wants to, not destroying that card and forcing jimmy to activate the ability that turn. graham even stated his intention to go back on his word in post which would be obvious to me if i was playing as jimmy. i would have done the opposite and swung at graham that turn when jimmy said he was returning the favour cause graham broke the deal first.

@@bobdole8830 i'm not a fan too of these kind of decks but let's be honest: The bear deck vs the others would have never won. In the mid late game they didn't mind about him for like 3-4 turns and still he wouldn't have been able to win if josh didn't destroy dictate of herebos and other stuff to balance the game while he was dying so it was absolutely not of his concern to help one particular player. Also jimmy clearly should have take into account the blockers and life total when he attacked on his last turn. What happens here on game knights is super entertaining and stuff but it doesn't always portray how a game of commander actually works. Be careful i'm not blaming them show or whatever because it's logical that the episode can't last 30 mins or a player doesn't get knocked out in the first 15 minutes. However sometimes they make decisions for entertaining purpose and that does not happen when you play a normal commander game.

I like the "Competitive Meter" on TappedOut. JLK had 75% perfect, which is neat. Surprisingly it clocked Kathleen at 50%, which I disagree with, seeming to not lack anything making Aristocrats superb. Then there's Graham at 47% Competitive, good job Graham! Jimmy is at 96 friggin' percent! Kathleen's deck was the cheapest at ~$450, and Graham's was at ~$650, but if you subbed out Gaea's Cradle, it would be around $300. JLK had $1000 on the table, and the 96% "Math is for Blockers" Jimmy had $1300 on the table lol

Oh god I literally woke up my roommates by laughing too loud. This is BY FAR the funniest Game Knights. And I love how each player sort of represented different styles of commander players (Kathleen being super value oriented, Josh with his tight political and technical play, Jimmy by building this Rube Goldberg machine that seemed super complicated but tons of fun, and Graham being that one tribal guy who has fun no matter what happens). And the editing seemed to level up too, that Cyclonic Rift was beautiful. Thanks for the amazing content guys

This was beautiful. A wildly swingy game full of politics, alliances, betrayals, sacrifices, and a surprise ending where the underdog wins. Good one Command Zone, everything you'd want from EDH. Bear force WON

Don't forget Jimmy being taken out, not only by his own hubris ("math is for blockers!"), but by his verbal agreement with Graham coming back to bite him. Whereas by doing the Good Guy thing of letting Jimmy have his way early on in the match, it paved the way for Bear Boy to achieve a _moral_ victory. With bears. Truly, this game was downright Shakespearean.
