Hi Summer you did a nice job on your review. I have a "Teamoy" case which I purchased off of amazon last year. It had 2 sections for hooks several zipper pouches and pockets. I love it. One of the sections for hooks was as you said, the elastic slots were a bit small for the larger Clover Amour hooks but I watched the Krista from the Secret Stitchery and she "unpicked" some of the stitching between the elastic loops to make them bigger so I also did that and now I can get my complete set of Clover Amour hooks in my case.

Hi Summer & friends. I bought a crochet hook case from Amazon about a year ago. It has room for all of my Clover hooks from all the way up to 10 mm. It also has space for smaller hooks such as boy or Susan Bates that don't have the ergonomic handles. Like yours it also has the 2 small zipper pockets and the large Pocket. Mine is by Damero and I have to say I love it! The one you have would probably be a close second for me. :-) thank you for the review!

I have 2 cases similar to this one. I use them for my "take with me any place I go" case. I really like them but think I will try this case out. Just a tip... If your hooks are Clover Amours or another brand with the hook size on the lower part of the handle put the hooks in the case with the actual hook inside the pocket on the bottom. This way you can easily see what size each hook is.

My grown daughters think I am crazy because I keep adding more storage items for my hooks...but I have avariety of hooks and they would not fit in one bag. I have several sets of regular hooks plus I have a couple of sets of Tunisian hooks which go up to 14inches. I have bought all my crochet hook cases and rolled cases from Amazon over the years. I am pretty housebound these days and look for bargins on Amazon and if I am patient I can find good bargins. I love your yarn chats and tutorials with your sense of humor and sunny smile. I have been crocheting for 52 years so I have a few hooks and things! But I have been using the same pencil case for like five years, I also have a tin and a big bag. Thank you for review. That would be great if I needed a small carrying case it is nice.

Thx for the review. [I reuse old wallets with zippered sections (change or bills section) as hook cases. They fit nicely in my project bags and the coin sections are great for stitch markers.]. Always great to see new products for gifts to my yarn friends!

Hey Summer! I would have to say that the only thing I don't care for is the fabric on the outside. I have the Damero hook case and it is similar to this one but has two complete sides that hold hooks and notions. I wish companies would make cases that match what we do on the outside of the case - for example, skeins of yarn, crochet hooks, llamas 😉 etc. In my case, I just have a plain colored one as I didn't want polka dots or flowers. Other than that, I think they are great cases for traveling around - compact enough to put inside a project bag. Hugs to you and your kiddos! Today is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL/WORK for summer! YEAH!!! 😉

Hello! Thank you so much! I pretty much have all I need such as a sm,med, and large crochet bags that have a place for crochet hooks and I ABSOLUTELY love all 3 of them!! Hi Summer I think that I like the case because it has black in it. Black hides needing to be washed soon. Colors beautiful doesn't show how old it is quickly.

Hi Summer!! I enjoy watching your videos. Its nice to find someone with intelligence out there! LOL! I have only recently taken up crochet again, after many, many years of almost nothing. I did start a blanket using the Tunisian hooks. I had three out of four panels completed, and a pattern for embroidering purple pansies on it. Love purple. It is currently in a storage unit that my daughter filled with "Mom's Stuff" when I left Oregon to go back to school in California. Good news! I did complete my BA and Paralegal Certification. Anyway, watching your videos is educational, informative and entertaining. I remember when MY kids were your son's age. Sigh. One of my other favorite KZbin'rs is Crystal from Bag-o-day. I have always said, if I won the lottery, I would open an after school program, utilizing Artisian Crafters and Senior Citizens to teach kids. . arts, sewing, crochet, quilting, millwork, cabinetry, gardening, Canning, metal working, jewelry making. . . things that our children USED to learn from their grandparents. It makes me sad that those arts are being lost. But thanks to you and other KZbin'rs like Crystal, these arts are seeing such a renewal!! Thank You!! For all your time, enthusiasm, and creativity!! Appreciate the review. I have the Damero case that I purchased from Amazon. It is very similar with the bottom pouch, but one compartment also has a top pouch as well. That seems to secure the hooks even better, not allowing them to slip out from the top accidentally

Good review... I like this case. It’s compact, and will fit into most bags...and it’s pretty. The various size slots, and the nice storage compartments are nice. If I wanted to buy a crochet case, I woukd certainly consider this one. Good for you, in not wanting to be officially attached to any product. It’s difficult to be completely candid , when you are being given items to review...by the manufacturer. Those kinds of reviews are always a little iffy...IMHO... Good job!

I guess i am the odd man. I put extra hooks of varying sylizes in a couple of different bags. One is the sm as llest of a 3 canvas type bag at michaels. I can throw what i need in there, plus a bit without bringing everything. Otherwise, that would look like a great idea. I love your reviews. I hope they get you to do many more. Hi to your children. Hi Summer. Great review! I also have the Damero case mentioned below. It is very similar and has room for all of my Clover hooks even the size P/Q. This case would definitely be a close second. If I decide to purchase another maybe I’ll give it a try. I too have so many hooks! I also have the set of Tulip hooks which you showed. Summer, I looked on Amazon at this crochet case and they have the hooks stored in the slots the opposite way you do, maybe that's to protect the hook, not sure why but thought I'd share!! I love you and your videos they are great!!

A lot of people (ME!!!) are using ergonomic hooks lately because they feel better in their achy hands. Crochet Hook Case makers need to make the bigger slots in their cases for a whole set of the ergonomic hooks.

That’s a nice case. The slots in mine are narrow, I can’t fit my clover hooks in it. And it doesn’t have the pockets. Hmm, might need a new case.

I do not like my yarnology yarn winder either. I bought one from amazon, a cheapie, and I liked it better but it broke. Was only $13.95. I don’t like the color of the new case. I just bought a nice new case for hooks and I love it. It has two zippers and a place for stitch markers. Tfs. 😊🧶
