My 4th great grandfather is William “Jack” Purdy, the grandfather of Ikua Purdy. I was fascinated to learn this while tracing my moʻokūʻauhau 💖. Our ohana is so vast throughout Hawaii.

Awesome documentary...I just wish my 3rd Great Grandfather was acknowledged (at 2:20) in the photo. He was top center in the picture and his name was William Sydney Spencer of Waimea. You'll find him together in most of Ikua and Archie's photos. Mahalo for sharing!!

If they rode a horse way back in rodeos or in the bushes--as long as they rope a cow or calf-- they are Cowboys! Not everybody can bulldog a cow with horns/-you can get killed.
