Being the gunner in those early Sturmoviks, a hole cut in the fuselage behind the pilot, a strap to sit on, exposed to the cold, and German fighters. Plus, from a flying perspective, the centre of gravity was altered. They were a hardy breed, those guys.

This aircraft would barely able to keep flying with this amount of elevator damage, let alone flare for landing.

Definitely like the looks of this, but a couple of ticks bother me. First off, I'm hoping there's going to be an option to enable the swastika on German planes. I know this is a delicate area, but I'm sorry, this is history. To cover it up and pretend it didn't happen is nonsense. I know it's outlawed in certain countries, but I hope it's an option for the rest of us. Also, and this is pretty minor, but I notice the exhaust flames do not always show on both exhaust manifolds. Is this by design, or a glitch? All in all, this is definitely going on my sim list.

É de um realismo bastante simpático... a par de Cliffs of Dover! Há outro tipo de jogos, mas simuladores... nã... DCS, bem destacados do FlySimulator, etc......... com base no IL2 Sturmovik.

nice edit! Looks like u didnt realize u only had half ur elevator so u couldnt flare at the end! Do u like this game better than cliffs of dover? I love the complex engine management in COD, does this game suffer from not having CEM?

Thanks! I didn't know about the missing elevator while I was flying. well.. in some parts such as stability & damage model I prefer BOS and in some other parts such as CEM & well-made user modes I prefer COD. I think I like both of them. :D

Bullshit. I have IL2 1946, Cliff of Dover and now Battle of Stalingrad. Cliffs of Dover is nowhere close to BOS in terms of flight model, damage model and graphics engine.
