We definitely need a graphical lift, starting from PBR for example. The game is a genuine gem, given modern graphics, something like DCS, it can do absolutely awesome, maybe surpass DCS. To me the immersive combat experience is second to none, just it needs a facelift to unleash her potential and become truly glorious.

They would need to either sell their own controller or greatly simplify the game into an arcadey version of itself that gets rid of all the tiny annoying to manage things like radiators, cowlings, etc. Frankly, if they had a simplified version I would play that because I really hate being expected to account for things that a real pilot would feel like wing buffeting or be able to see easily like their various guages. We are given these planes with unique systems and features yet we as pilots don't even get a training course on how to use all these things. Like c'mon, you think these pilots didn't get trained in using their equipment? You guys aren't making story based campaigns with cinematics and c rap like that so, you could at least make a tutorial for each plane. Frankly I've played sims for well over 5 or 6 years now and I still don't know or even care to know how to operate my radiator, superchargers, cowlings, etc. I hate that planes like the BF109 use an entirely different system for elevator trim than other planes and that isn't explained, and so on. Frankly, I don't think there are ANY immersive arcadey ww2 dog fighting games out there (besides maybe the old flawed wings of prey) and they could've utilized all those assets for that.

now we just need some infantry formations to strafe... I think it's about time that be put into a flight sim already. Also, hope you guys will add PILOT HANDS & LEGS. It's really lame seeing the sticks and controls floating and moving on their own after playing all kinds of games with an animated pilot model.

I have been playing combat sims games like BIRDS OF STEEL( my personal best so far), i think if they would have bring this title with all the dlc and all the good work so far on consoles, it would attract a verity of audience. Dont forget that there are flight sim games on consoles like MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR and it works and feels great, image the opportunity that IL 2 STURMOVIK has...

There’s no such thing as a flight sim on consoles. It’s not doable in any meaningful way. And those consoles can’t support a game like il2 with any fidelity

Por un B17 y sus 25 misiones pagaría con gusto. Pero por mas de lo mismo... El juego necesita un reshade o algo similar, esa paleta de colores tan deprimentes y las cabinas tan oscuras...por lo menos la opción de activarlo a elección del usuario. Porque pierde mucho respeto al otro sim de la competencia.
