Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this double phase Capitano boss theme! As we are approaching Natlan sooner or later and we know that we’ll be facing Capitano in Natlan, I think it’s a good time to finally make a double phase theme for him. The previous one I made was just a single fan-made battle theme without any phases. I wanted to create a similar treatment to Capitano as what I did to Arlecchino’s. So here it is! The phase 1 was entirely new while the phase 2 was an improved version of the previous battle theme. I really liked the previous one I made so what I did was to polish it even further and added subtle electronic elements to it. I tried to find the flaws in the original one and tried my best to improve the flaws and I hope you can feel the difference! Meanwhile, the phase 1 theme was more focused on the electronic aspect. I have been enjoying sound design a lot these past few weeks and I hope to showcase some of it in the phase 1 theme. And I personally think it’s fitting as well since I wanted to capture the terror that Capitano might give us if we ever have to face him in a fight. I had a lot of fun making this one and it’s good to be back with double phase videos as it is very entertaining for me and challenges my skill as well. i believe the bloodstained chivalry set states that he witnessed the khaenriah remains in the abyss and since he was so devoted to bringing justice and killing enemies he saw that khaenriah is the result of a worldwide injustice so he probably (i assume) joined the fatui because theyre ultimately going to do justice to the world by setting up a new world without celestia? i remember there being a mention of a new world , someone correct me if im wrong

It's funny how, despite being the strongest harbinger (besides maybe Pierro), Capitano is arguably the "nicest" harbinger, too - Beloved by pretty much the entire fatui - Left Varka and his expedition in peace and even gained his respect - Actually has a moral code and doesn't just go around murderhobo-ing like everyone else Part of me wonders if it's going to turn out that's he's actually trying to be diplomatic in Natlan, but outside forces are merely going to cause him to have to fight.

So, you have to fight with Capitano, the first Fatui Harbinger and the strongest man in Teyvat. His authority and aura tell you, traveler, that you will die if you try to resist him. However, you can't retreat that easily, right? You try to hit him, but in vain, he easily dodges them. Sometimes he lets himself be hit on purpose, but for him it's nothing more than an unpleasant bite. You realize that you are in a shoddy position. Capitano is actualy not the the first fatui harbinger. That title will go to Pierro. The Captain is most likely the 5th fatui harbinger despite his name being the captain. Pierro is 1st, The Doctor is 2nd, Columbina is 3rd and the Knave is 4th however we can only speculate atp.

The order of the voicelines of Tartaglia and the Wanderer corresponds to the ranking perfectly, it doesn't make sense for everyone to observe the ranks except for the Capitano. 2. This gives me the impression of both a menacing yet also noble warrior. I believe that his cause is a just one. My belief is that you fight a man who goes to war to end it. The idea that you are fighting a righteous man is even more terrifying than if you're fighting an evil one. After all, what do you do when two protagonist like characters meet on the battlefield? Who's to say that you're right and he's wrong? What if you're in the wrong here? His morals against yours. Would you even be the good guy anymore?

Imagine... You heard that he was "human", so a part of you thought he won't be THAT hard...right ? Right...? Wrong, he may be "human", but he's not "just human"...and on top of his physical durability, he posses powerful "sharp" attacks that can bleed you In his first phase, he has 100k HP, representing our belief that he won't be "that" hard due to his human nature, but has 99% damage reduction, turning your hundred thousand damages into mere thousands, as a symbol of his strength, because he will always...ALWAYS...block your attacks. He only attacks physically, but still manages to put you in a hard time, as your HP will bleed when you take a damage from him, removing 5% of the max HP every second after you take a hit, shielded or not, whatever attack he does. You then slowly but surely began to tire him with weak attacks, and that allows you to force this "human" to get serious, showing his true nature...a monster...once we chipped him into 2.5k HP, showing a more twisted side of him...here, you figured out why Capitano has people rooting and admiring him...because he always gives his 100%...but this time...he's going to give you his 300%... He only has 2500 "HP" this time, but no matter how strong you attack, they are no more than mosquito bites to him, giving only 1 damage to him. He also attacks with all kinds of 7 elements in such a genius combination, showing that warfare isn't just about strength, and that a true warrior must have admirable wits. The bleed became twice as strong, and deadlier. He also has an instant kill move using all the 7 elements delusions simultaneously, along with various powerful attacks that removes an absurd amount of HP... You found out just how dangerous this monster is, but you have no time to worry about that...because your only choice now is to beat this monster by throwing all you can think of at him, hoping they will somehow work... Shortly... 1st phase : Physical only 100k HP (Basically 10m if the damage reduction is considered) 2nd phase : Physical + 7 elements + reactions 2500 hits to beat, even your best DPS may fail you here...

Autonomy in all things- swipes a backhand at player, dealing immense piercing physical dmg All’s fair in war- grabs player and drags them across the floor, throwing them a distance away. This attack inflicts a heal block Reflection, A mutual destruction- attacking Capitano in this phase deals equal dmg, of elemental or physical type to self Touch Not The First Son- characters that are human in terms of species are incapable of attacking Capitano Stand and Fight- punches the ground and unleashes AOE physical shockwave that shatters shields and inflicts a heal block Strength but not power- swats an air wave at player, shattering shields and stunning them Bludgeoning Charge- Runs toward player, knocking them down. This shatters shields and stuns them. Passive: I cannot fall- Capitano is immune to elemental statuses, debuffs and cannot be staggered ---------------- Phase 2: No more do I fight like a man (Capitano uses his claymore that periodically flips open to become a double sided blade) Invader to Invader -parries attacks by player and counters with a slash that deals two fold dmg of the same type he has received. Untouchable as is God’s only child- capable of using super speed to traverse the battlefield. Dragon Conqueror. Spiral Eater. -all visions wielders cannot use elements. Nor can abyssal characters use abyss power Winning chance- Capitano allows player to deal dmg to him in this state. But unleashes a blue laser from his eyes nearing the end, dealing abyss dmg. Ultimate alliance: summons the shackled spirits of the dragon sovereigns and sends them to attack the player, dealing elemental dmg. Life, Death, Time and Space- Capitano creates 4 shades of himself. Life shade cannot be destroyed until all other shades are destroyed. Death shade kills player with a single attack. Time shade extends all debuffs on player and can heal Capitano and other shades. Space shade can imprison player and grant shields to other shades and Capitano. Heir To The Great Creator>> Purity of Humanity- blade is infused with primeordial magic, unleashing a beam of power at the player. Nullifies all buffs on player. To Die For Your Sins- Abyssal thorns are uprooted from the ground and attack the player. Repent and be welcomed back to paradise: Capitano reveals his wings and encases the active character in an egg, sealing them permanently. They can only be freed by destroying the egg with celestial characters who at the point of the bossfight, have not yet been introduced to the game

Capitano has the most badass design in the game and the bloodstained knight has the most badass lore in the game, so i am praying that they are the same person even though the knight is stated to have died in the abyss. This could also be the way they showcase Capitano in inazuma(possibly) as the knight trained under rostam, signora's lover, and he could possibly face-off against the shogun and establish his strength. Just a theory, of course.

We don't actually know much about most of the Harbingers at all, including some we've met. We still don't know how strong Arlecchino or Dottore is in combat for example, or just overall what powers do they and the others have. Actually, we don't even know what powers did Scaramouche have before turning into the Wanderer now that I think about it :D

I personally believe we will fight him like Raiden Shogun and lose in Natlan to later fight him again in Snezhnaya. Instead we will fight with Dottore or Columbina in Natlan, similar to how they teased Scaramouch since Mondstadt/Inazuma. This is superb. Very well done. I recently saw someone speculate that it would be awesome if Capitano was Genshin's equivalent of Lord Godfrey/Horah Loux from Elden Ring. Just this absolute unit of a man whose sheer strength and will propelled them into rivaling and even besting others with godlike powers. His stomps crack and shake the earth and his claymore swings create gales of wind that push the traveler back. I imagine in his first phase, he would have a greatshield with his delusion embedded in the front, alongside his own giant sword. Probably as a gift from the Fatui or even the Tsaritsa herself to emphasize his status as a protector and leader of his troops. Kind of like the Crucible knights from Elden Ring. And then, at the start of his second phase, he realizes that his delusion of being a guardian is only holding him back, and so, he wrenches his delusion out of the shield, and then crushes it, tossing the now powerless shield to the side like it weights nothing. Now, without anything holding him back, he two-hands his claymore to give us a proper fight, and addresses himself by his true name: Sir Roland, the Bloodstained Knight This whole piece felt like seeing this idea come to life. So thank you.
