IL FUTURO - How to Form & Use the Future Simple in Italian | Learn Italian Grammar

How to talk about future actions and events in Italian? The future simple is very easy to form, and it translates a lot of English structures like will, to be going to, to be about to, etc. To help you remember better, we'll see a lot of example sentences and we'll do two exercises together. In this lesson we will also learn how to form the future of the most common irregular verbs and I will explain a few spelling rules to keep in mind.

Thanks for the opera references. I worked 25 years as a violinist in the Swedish Royal Opera and have recently retired to Sicily. Of course I’m studying Italian as much as possible but the Italian spoken here is hardly recognizable from what I’m learning online. 😂

Al solito questa lezione è molto utile. Il tempo futuro italiano non è esattamente come il tempo futuro in inglese e perché è possibile usare il tempo presento in italiano per il futuro, non uso il tempo futuro spesso abbastanza. Quindi la mia comprensione in questa area è un po’ debole. Grazie per la lezione.

Grazie Davide, hai ragione, ci sono delle differenze fra i tempi verbali in inglese e i tempi verbali in italiano:) Secondo me tu in realtà conosci bene le coniugazioni!
