Trivia fact. He was asked to write/sing a song for the Gladiator movie first but he turned it down. Then after the movie came out he regretted his decision. So a while later he decided to sing the song anyway! Not sure which version I prefer the most. The either way I love Pavarotti, a true legend with a voice that always makes my hair stand on end & gives me goosebumps every time! ❤️❤️❤️

For this type of song I always liked Franco Corelli because of his unmatched high notes; hence, this is for me an homage on Pavarotti, most likely the greatest voice of a new era, change from the old to the new Opera. In this song his wonderful technique, power & control shows and shines like never before. RIP. My friend.
