I literally kissed raja sir on mobile, when he replied to the question "Define ilayaraja". When he accepts what he is, he becomes a child. Who wouldn't love a child? What would i do if my daughter says " I couldn't help, i did it"? I felt the same way when he answered the question. You are like the rain, a natural element. Whenever i want to, i can get drenched and so are many others. You are the first person whom i addressed Sir, so righteous to call you as Sir.

This interview is fascinating in many ways. First, the exquisite detail and the effortless ease with which he describes the song-making process. NO arrogant man in this world will admit his creations carries mistakes that can be improved. If Honesty and courage means arrogance he should be proud to be called so. What did we learn ? Only certain people can interview Mr. Raja and I believe these two have done a great job. Kudos to this duo. He is a simpleton with a wide breadth of knowledge. The moral is, while interviewing Mr.Raja, we need to engage simple people who understand music and who want to actually learn from him. In this episode, I think the duo sincerely wanted to learn from him, hence he opened up. I wish people learn to interview him, it is a must, if we don't learn that technique then his expertise may not be explored to benefit next generations.
