Ilala Lodge ( Victoria Falls , Zimbabwe )

Ilala Hotel, for over 30 years has been considered a Victoria Falls landmark known for its beautiful gardens and central location. The iconic hotel is closest in proximity to the mighty Victoria Falls. During my previous trips to the falls, I only experience meals at the renowned hotel but had not done an overnight stay. It looks more exclusive than A'Zambezi. I prefer A'Zambezi lodge. It has better ambiance.

Have you tired Ilala? Interesting , I think it boils down to personal choice. Azambezi is at the river, Ilala has the view of the smoke that Thunders. The pool a Ilala is a must for me

@@KickingItWithMimi A’Zambezi has a pool too. It is more open plan and has a single focal point so you get to see everyone and everything. Ilala has more anonymity.

Without being too diplomatic Mimi....ILALA or PALM RIVER you're overall preference.

It really depends they both so different .. loved how spacious ilala rooms were . Palm the view and new modern ambiance is great too.
