Gorgeous seaside town. My family are from Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. Really miss it down there. Time to move back I think!

You had such lovely weather and blue skies! Although our weather was mostly wet and gray, we still thought it was a great town.

The music spoils the video. I would have loved to hear the natural sounds of the sea and seagulls.

This is the Quayside area, very different to the deprived and badly run town side. Ilfracombe is a great little community and it was busy with events and heritage celebrations until recently. But it probably ranks low now in Britain for quality and seaside holidays. Devon is massively over-rated for holidays and the seasonal businesses are bone idle. The local authority doesn't get funding for the town and they've let the place go to the dogs in recent years. We live in Ilfracombe, and the scenery is great. Great history and heritage as well. But it's not a great place to live.

Good evening, Elliot. You could try to marketeer it better across European Travel Agencies. However, I live in the center coastal region of Portugal (Figueira da Foz), and I may say that mass tourism is good for local GDP, yet not so agreeable due to the noise produced by people and the deterioration of our heritage sites by them. There are always pros & cons to consider. I have already become a fan of your beautiful village. Kind regards
