Hey Taylor! Just a small correction: the serum foundation actually does have zinc oxide in it, it's just non-nano! Basically the zinc oxide particles are larger which allows them to shield the skin from UVA/UVB for longer. Hope that helps!

I love this skin tint!! I apply with my hands and give it a minute to set down a bit. I think it depends on climate actually. I live in a dry area which tends to suck out moisture in foundation but it works perfectly with this!

I bought this foundation a while ago; I'm a fan of sheer coverage so I'm happy enough to make it work, but I agree with everything you've said. I always set it with powder, usually the lip bar face quad, and I use quite a bit of setting spray. That gets me through 8 hours, and it looks reasonably nice that way. I've found it mixes pretty well also. Definitely won't repurchase, though!

I still love to watch these foundation videos but I have found my holy grail in the Purito BB cream!! It is so beautiful, truly doesn’t settle into fine lines, and lasts all day. And all at a great price! Thank you SO much for recommending it I’m 41 and it’s the best foundation I’ve ever used! 😍

I’m a over 50# women. I decided to take the plunge and purchase. With so many shade ranges it was difficult to choose a shade perfect for my skin tone. My go to has always been Colorescience products. I went a shade lighter then I probably should have, but after a few minutes it absorbs fast and I was pleasantly surprised. I applied with my fingers one coat and made sure to move the product around my face quickly. It covered up my redness and left a smooth texture. Applied a light powder for a finished look. I like it and will repurchase again. As a women over 50 I find it difficult to find a product that doesn’t sink into my fine lines. It is light coverage but that’s what I was looking for. Natural and fresh!

I really love using this with my hands and then evening it out with a beauty blender. I would just use it dry because it picked up some of it when it was wet. But it looked amazing on my oily skin and it’s one of this foundations that as it wears it looks better.

I like Ilia for the winter when my skin gets extra dry. If it was a hot day then that def affects the wear time. I've also been mixing it with the Elf CC cream (which is full coverage matte and super drying on me) that has helped bring both products into a really nice in-between that works on my dry skin.

This is holy grail status foundation for me! I absolutely love this product!!! I’m almost done and I will be purchasing another bottle. I pour it into my finger and warm it up and then massage it into my skin almost like a moisturizer. I have dry, fair skin.

I love this foundation. It actually works best for me with a beauty blender. I conceal any major spots first and then put the foundation over. I do need to powder a little to set it or I’m a little too shiny.

I’m 37 with terrible skin. I hated this skin tint the first few times. Something about it grew on me and now it’s the only thing I reach for. It goes on beautifully without moisturizer or primer, with the fingers. It melts into the skin and I even love the smell, which was one of my biggest complaints about it before lol 💕

I love this foundation!! I have dry acne prone skin with bright red acne spots to cover and I find it actually dries down and stays..and have worn both the Beautycounter Dew Skin underneath and Australian Gold tinted spf. I spot conceal with the Ilia concealer and it looks perfect! I always lightly powder with the Cover FX translucent setting powder and I have never had a problem. I have worn it with a mask all day for work and it does rub off but not as bad as some other ones I wear. If I wear it all day without a mask it looks flawless and does dry down after like 2 to 3 hours for me.

I have been using this foundation for quite a while now and my best advice is to pat it in (not rub) and let it dry down before applying a second layer... I always drop it onto a foundation palette or the back of my hand but the most important thing is to not rub-- all stippling or it will be uneven because of the mineral spf

I just bought the Ilia and I have similar skin, texture in the same places. It’s winter, and I find that it does dry down more. I was pretty impressed by the lack of tackiness considering the glow.

I love this foundation for a quick light coverage look. Tip: use the real techniques face and body sponge dry to apply this. You’ll be so much happier with the ease of application. 👌🏼 Also, I know you don’t use powder, but a light light layer of a compact powder to set this will make it last amazing throughout the day. If you don’t powder, it will wear off so quickly and transfer. I use the airbrush compact powder by Charlotte Tilbury, just a light layer that is not heavy or drying 👍🏻

I really like this foundation too. I just use the real techniques regular sponge. But you do have to look out for the more porous kind. Those sponges aren’t the most consistent. The smoother one works way better. And i def agree with the ct airbrush pressed powder. Also I don’t always powder and it wears well for me.

I absolutely love this and wear the same shade. Mine is about gone, but I’m not re-purchasing until Ilia increases their shade range to be more inclusive. I’m so sad because I love it. Fingers are definitely the way to go for me.

Happy to see you reviewing clean/non-toxic beauty products. Performance always gets a little bit sacrificed when formulating clean products so its good to see this is even in the running. Maybe you can mention to your followers that the product is non-toxic when you do review clean brands because that outweighs some performance issues for some people. Thanks! I also love the Guerlain and the way it sets. I find that when I use this with the Bite Changemaker powder (it has a gorgeous soft satin finish) it gives me the best looking skin. I’d say the combo of the Ilia and Bite is slightly better than the Guerlain.
