I too am looking for a “skin tint” or tinted moisturizer for summer. The Kosas was to oily for me. (Plus the oil was rancid in my tube!) The Cover Girl was good but it had some kind of crystallized pieces in it. (I returned both). But having a review off a good representation of drug store and high end tints would be great.

i recently picked up the thinksun tinted sunscreen, and i have really been loving it so far. it might actually end up being my favorite tinted sunscreen, heh. it's really good to know that this ilia skin tint works well on top of it, after it's had time to properly sink in and all of that, because i'm considering making it my summer foundation if it works out for me. time to get a sample from my local sephora because i think they have it in stock there now. yay!

I'd love to hear your review on the Honest Beauty tinted moisturizer! This one sounds good but is a bit pricey! :) Love my Ilia foundation and agree that the concealer doesn't really do anything. For me, their concealer actually would not do anything except get really flaky around my eyes.

Ok Kackie, I need your guidance: I LOVE the Ilia Skin tint. I have this one patch of dry skin between my eyebrows, and its the only complexion product that i have tried that doesn't break up and get weird on this one spot. I am right now using the Hourglass concealer on my undereyes (im a 37 year old full time working mother of two young girls... my concealer needs concealer!)...the hourglass is pretty good, but do you think there is a better full coverage concealer that won't settle in my wrinkles AND will play nicely with the ilia? Also I use the Kosas Tropic Equinox duo with the Ilia and I really love the combo.

I would love to see your best of skin tints!! Awesome review! Honestly though just about anything would look perfect on your skin..which looks amazing by the way!! If people are worried about having enough spf on their face and still want a put together look or have something to cover you can take your favorite facial sunscreen and mix it with a liquid foundation or something like Cover Fx custom coverage drops. I want to try the supergoop unseen spf and the cover fx drops or use another high coverage foundation like Pacifica (I hate it because I can't get it to not look cakey but maybe with sunscreen I could pull it off).

The ilia true skin serum foundation just did not work well for me for some reason it seems to just sit on top of my skin and collect in pores and dry spots, but this looks beautiful and I really want to try it!! I would love to hear your opinion on the Honest Beauty CC you mentioned (and any other affordable options you have coming up)! Especially if you set it with the Ilia powder! I am on the hunt for a light/medium coverage (to even out my redness) for my dry skin. I have small children so I always feel the need to powder to cut down on transfer. I think I’ll buy the travel powder set to try when I’m due for a new one. I prefer a pressed powder, but I’d be willing to sacrifice for a Kackie approved magic powder!😉🤗

@@camilledumas Hey :) I wound up getting Shade 9 Paloma. I have a TERRIBLE time matching my skin as I am fairly dark but also quite pink. If it helps, I had 3C1/Dune in Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere and it was a little light for me but not terrible (it is is pretty but too heavy for me)

Probably only available in the USA because the SPF regulations in the USA are subpar. There are a stronger, clearer regulations that the rest of the world uses that the FDA just refuses to adopt. (SPF & PA) So US products are not deemed good enough for export. This is why I only use SPF from Korea, Japan, Australia or the EU.

@@pleaseuseturnsignals5880 the lightest of the two mychelle shades is too dark for me, but the thinksun tinted spf 30 is actually perfect. when the uv index is super high, i layer a tinted sunscreen on top of a non tinted sunscreen to make sure i'm thoroughly protected. i am rly considering getting the non tinted version of the mychelle liquid for summer to use under the thinksun tinted because the formula is honestly excellent.

I have been considering the Ilia skin tint, and this kind of sealed the deal for me. But ALSO can we talk about how we think it's totally plausible for women to look like they just emerged venus-like from a cocoon of carefully crafted humectants? If you put this foundation on a man, people would be like "bro, why you so *glossy*?" But it's the gold standard as a low-key natural look for women.

Here a tip! ;) I have used Mac face and body and it’s quite Same like this in how it is on te skin. It’s watery like. And if you want more cover then put it in your hand en rub it for 10 tot 3 seconds and then put it on the places you want more cover. It works! :) if you want more cover blend in in your hands ;)

My skin is pretty dry, so this product worked for me, don't get oily and don't need to powder anything. my only concern is that the zinc oxide concentration is 12%, which is pretty low for an efficient sun protection during summer days, you need at least 20% (that's why supergroup CC is superior in that area). But it's a perfect winter/"office days" tint if you don't intend to spend too much time outdoors or in a direct sunlight. Coconut and its derivatives are very comedogenic for my skin, so yeah, this one is a winner

The SPF has been thoroughly tested so you shouldn't be afraid to use it even in summer ;) The way zinc oxide is treated, micronized or not, added with different components etc. makes it more or less efficient so we shouldn't rely just on the concentration for that

I found you during this stay at home order and it was such a 🤯 that my concealer may be creasing because it is oil based and my tinted moisturizer is water based! Couple of things, why don't you use primer after your sunscreen and why don't you have tarte products in the review rotation? Thanks!

They will be selling in the UK at some point, Naturisimo has a list to be notified when it's in stock. Whether that's because Ilia are in talks with the regulators or because the UK is in a kind of wild west re regulations since we left the EU I'm not sure.
