Note on Topuria's chin: he moved up a division on short notice and ate a flush head kick (which would KO most 155ers), then proceeded to immediately recover, get a takedown, and win the fight. Combining his durability + ability to recover with his defensive skill, I see a Holloway KO as extremely unlikely.

I need to rewatch their fights to be sure but I see this as a difficult one for Max Iirc he's easy to hit when he's on the backfoot (On the offensive he's hittable too but I think that's less dangerous for him here). However I can see him make this interesting if Topuria gets tired. But in the first 3 rounds I expect Ilia to have a decent advantage, if he doesn't finish.

Great change of graphic…I see this match being very competitive, but what this comes down for me is that Holloway has no idea how to fight like a taller fighter…he has the tools to make a very frustrating fight for Topuria if not beat him but in this aspect of matchups, he has very low IQ…besides, Ilia is coming into his prime, he’s very patient/confident and has the power to make Holloway respect him…I also think this will be Ilia by decision where it’s almost even but Topuria lands the bigger shots that open and wobble Holloway and gets him the clear decision…FON without question…

Agreed. Although, I can see it being a slower paced fight where both are cautious and measured. Topuria is stalking, Holloway circling out. Holloway engages with some rangy shots then retreats, Ilia sometimes explodes forward. Then there are a few pocket exchanges where Topuria gets the better of it. If it's an intense dogfight where they are trading shots, Topuria will sleep him as Max can be very wide open when throwing in the pocket. Also good point that Holloway has questionable IQ and his style doesn't utilize all his physical advantages.

The overrated one dimensional bum has never fought a man with the level of boxing of Topuria. The weakness of Illia is a striker with versatility who can kick, knee, elbow, do unpredictable stuff. Holloways boxing would not be a problem for topuria at all, he has got hreat boxing defense and max pillow punches are a joke. Also holloway has never faced a grappler like topuria. Volk's takedowns in the open mat are a joke, and his cage wrestling is just mediocre. Topuria is a greco roman wrestler not even close to Alex.

The glaze of holloway is insane. He lost 3 times to Volk and 2 times with soyrier. He has never faced a well rounded grappler and boxer like topuria. He went to war against YAIR do I need to say more? LMAO😂
