Hello and aloha from Hawaii. 👋🌈🌊🏝🏖🌴⛱🐬🐟🐠🌞 You are so fortunate that not only is California a very large state, but, if you want a change of scenery, you can simply drive to another state. Here in Hawaii, we do pretty much most of our camping down at the beach by the ocean. On the positive side, we can do a lot of fishing. The downside, however, is that the best time to go fishing, is during the summer months. The ocean usually gets rather rough during the winter months, and can be rather dangerous. The best part about camping, is that the food always tastes way better when you're outdoors, compared to making and eating the same exact meal at home. I don't know what you think, but, that's what it always seems like to me. Live your life to the fullest, enjoy your down time when you're not at work, running errands or doing chores. 👍👍👍👍👍👋🌈🌊🏝🏖🌴⛱🐬🐟🐠🌞

I just stumbled upon your camping videos and I like your adventures. At the end of your video you mentioned a new hard top to hold a RTT, I would suggest a Garvin Roof rack system, allowing you can attach any type of RTT you like. I'm sure it would be cheaper that having to buy a new top. I also follow ATEM who does solo camping in his TJ, you should check out his videos; he too has great content. Keep posting videos, so far what I've seen I like. I showed one of your videos to my wife whom agreed to camp with me; Joshua Tree and loved it!

We have a MoonShade for our Sprinter van and just wanted to let you know that the front poles connect to the clips on the corner of the shade. Then they don’t fall down! Also, there are clips and loops along the shade edges so we connect solar string lights to a solar charger with USB and have lights on all night. MoonShade also makes MoonWalls so you won’t have to use your tarp next time. Good for you for solo camping! 🏕️

I would recommend the Bulldawg Highlander Hardtop like you said. It has a dynamic load rating of 600lb which is way higher than any conventional roof rack for the Jeep TJ.

The only thing we did sludge on being new Overlanders ( side note I’m not the camper my husband and son are) we splurged on a roof tent and a roof rack so I would be comfortable other than that my husband bought things we needed for camping.

I went camping last weekend and had to come home early :') it was raining and soggy, my airbed is too big for my tent and it was claustrophobic - you make it look beautiful! Have you had any disaster trips that made you question if you enjoy camping at all? I want to love it!! I know it can be so great

I've had plenty of trips that didn't go as planned or I was underprepared! I see it as a learning experience for my next trip! It takes time to find your groove with camping and you'll learn what works/doesn't work with more trips. Don't let that discourage you from experiencing the outdoors!

Hi! Thank you 💕 I like to take it pretty easy. I usually bring a book or journal. I also play with the dogs and walk/hike with them. Filming these videos also takes up a good chunk of time while I'm there. Once the weather is cooler, I'm hoping to do longer stays!
