I've got a drawer full of batteries too and my wife would have a litter of kittens if she found out that I'm buying another one, L O L.

First thank you for your Video. I wonder if you get the full 18W if the unit is not at nearly 100% or with a other cable? But still, excelent Video. Please share new informations if you get them about the waterproof isue. Best wishes and greetings from germany. Sorry for my bad english.

It will charge at the 18 Watts for input. It normally reads on my measurement devices as it is charging 17 Watts but I think that is acceptable. As for the waterproofing, it DOES REQUIRE the silicone cover to be secured for it to be water resistant/waterproof. The explanation given to me by Goal Zero was that the Type C port is the reason it would require the cover. They cannot waterproof that so the solution was to cover it. Thanks for the question and take care!

It does

@@ilinauf thanks for the info. Have you been using yours much? How is it holding up?
@ilinauf2 жыл бұрын
@@PhilJC using it right now on the beach. Holding up well. Does about 1 full charge while using my pixel 6 pro. I like the ruggedness. Doesn't feel delicate like other banks.

The old Venture 70 has open port and waterproof. I've dunket it and left it out in the rain many times with no issues, These new Ventures are probably just as durable.
@ilinauf3 жыл бұрын
I must definitely think they are durable but I did verify with Goal Zero that the cover must be in place for it to be waterproof. It's for the type C port mostly.

Do i use the port c to charge it ? I just received mine
@ilinauf2 жыл бұрын
That's correct. The type c port is your input for charging.

Tried to find that USB to 6mm converter plug you mentioned on Goal Zero website. It's no longer available. Might you know where it can be purchased?
@ilinauf3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don't. I would recommend getting the USB to 12 volt car adapter female and then using the included 12 volt car adapter male that is provided with the light of life 350.

the rubber used on the outside housing , is it the type that turns all tacky and sticky in about 3 years time?
@ilinauf3 жыл бұрын
It feels like it is quality rubber made to last. Very thick. Made to last it seems.

What u recommend for kayaking
@ilinauf2 жыл бұрын
I would feel safe enough to bring while kayaking (port closed) but I wouldn't charge at the same time unless it was in a waterproof bag of some type along with the device you were charging.

Use a USB C wall charger and you will charge the 35 in 30-40 min. I do it.
