I respect her as a comic. But her views are untempered; she was born in New York, grew up in Dallas, went to a private school and Lives in L.A. As she says herself she knows she wasn't an ugly weirdo (oof, beauty privilege is strong there) "... there's no such thing as reverse racism..." 1:47:05 How would she know? Her only true stumble was that people thought she was too hot to be a comic. She admitted it herself; she has the confidence of someone who's never faced rejection. That's what makes Bert palatable; he has the same insane confidence, but the difference is, there was a time he considered himself a failure as professional and a father. Like I said, she's a funny comic; I've watched all her specials, all of them. But her views are hollow to me.

I listen to a lot of different comedian's podcasts. It's all just kind of a circle jerk, especially when they get together. It's like they're obsessed with themselves. Although I will say H. Foley and Kevin Ryan keep it pretty humble.

This incredibly common trope with society being terrified of guilt is truly sad. Guilt is part of what makes you human. People who live without guilt tend to have a good time but at the expense of every single person around them, and they just don't care. Sounds more like sociopathy to me. Betty Friedan predicted this decades ago.

12:00 Nova Scotia needs MUCH better marketing for the comics that come here. Being a small city we rarely got anyone I am a fan of here so I might look at what's coming up a couple times a year. I missed one I would'e paid a thousand bucks to see (Segura and Bobby Lee) and ALMOST missed Steve-O a few weeks later. Luckily, missing the first one reminded me to look haha
