Voices from the Muslim world is a series of one-on-one or online brief interactive discussions with prominent academicians, influencers, thought leaders, scholars, activists, orators and policy makers in order to learn their perspective on the chronic and contemporary problems that the Muslim world is facing and present their proposed solutions with a wider audience both in Turkey and other parts of the world. The interviews are moderated by Ahsan Shafiq.
Professor Khaled A. Beydoun is a law professor, author and public intellectual. He serves as a law professor at Wayne State University, a Scholar-in-Residence at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, and Associate Director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights in Detroit. Professor Beydoun is author of the critically acclaimed book American Islamophobia: Understanding the Roots and Rise of Fear, and co-editor of Islamophobia and the Law - published by University of Cambridge Press.
In this interview Khaled Beydoun shares his thoughts about the alarming rise in Islamophobia and how global war on terror has given the license to different countries to persecute Muslims. He also discussed how the event of 9/11 has intensified global Islamophobia hence calls this new phenomenon, "The New Crusades" on Muslims.

İLKE Vakfı Toplumsa Düşünce ve Araştırma Merkezi TODAM’ın, Müslüman Dünyada Düşünce ve Hareketler Projesi kapsamında hayata geçirdiği “Müslüman Dünyadan Sesler” programı; Müslümanların kendi içerisinde bulunan, alanında kıymetli çalışmalar yaparak gelecek vadeden, henüz büyük oranda tanınmayan ancak mevcut çalışmalarıyla gelecekte adından söz ettireceği öngörülen şahsiyetlerin Türkiye ve tüm dünyaya tanıtılmasını hedefliyor.
