corner into the hill was definitely my favourite one. Being able to let that gap open and carry tons of speed into it.

Alec one question, Trail braking also apllies in wet cornering?
@alecpedalerbriggs9876 Жыл бұрын
Yes it does, you just have to be more careful. Cornering in the wet is basically the same as cornering in the dry, you just do it not so extreme as in the dry and with a bit more caution.

Hey Alec. Been following you on Ig for a while. Good stuff Which app do you use for the data overlay?

Hi Alec, in terms of Trail Braking as we see in the video, do you stop trail braking earlier in the rain compared to dry? As far as i understand, you go with more speed in the corner and you go with a little brake dragging to no brake dragging while leaning at around 70-80% of max lean. Only after stopping with the dragging do you then lean to max angle, right? In the wet you stop dragging the rear brake even earlier than in the dry(but you're carrying less speed/angle in the rain)? The GCN vid left so much questions.. Beauty, I'd pay to go to a cornering clinic of yours in Belgium ;)

Fair that lapped riders shouldn't get in front of lead riders, but if they aren't withdrawn from the race by the comms I don't think it's fair to criticise them for getting in behind. They are still racing at the end of the day, even if just for minor placings. Pretty sure it's only in track pursuit British Cycling rules prevent drafting when caught.

Yeah I hear you man, they are asked not to sit on or get involved though, and that’s what really winds me up.
@cornishalps9870 Жыл бұрын
yeah I don't see the harm in lapped riders sitting behind as long as they don't reovertake any riders
