I tell you straight up, I left the white until last on my 3 flags. I whined and other words for one full white row. Stopped, reasoned with myself. I mean, really, that was a lot of work. But, the white was killing my soul. I finally told myself, “Self, you love this piece but the stitching is too much. 2 No one will know that it is supposed to be filled in with white 3 leaving out the white will make it looked nicely textured.” It took a while but I finally agreed with myself and ripped out the one white row and moved on. No regrets. Have a great week ladies!

The Polar Plunge from Fabrics by Stephanie is the fabric Cathy Hauberman used for her Polar Plunge series. Last year at Stitchin in the Wild I got to meet and set with Stephanie! I have a similar blue from her (she had a trunk show there) named “Test”. It was the shade of blue that did not make the final cut… lots of great WIPs and stash enhancements!!!
