Illdisposed to me have always been one of the most overlooked and underappreciated bands in death metal. They are melodic but have a sense of groove to them. I think all their albums are great and this one is really good too. The first three albums; Four Depressive Seasons, Submit, and There's Something Rotten... In the State of Denmark are all really good. After that, they stuck to a formula but it worked every time. This new album I think is their best since With the Lost Souls on Our Side.

Necrotic Nick- I definitely got a lot of mid 2000's melodeath on here with some 90's groove metal mixed in. It's pretty decent but it really runs with a pack of very similar bands at least based on what I heard here. This is definitely a band I want to check out more stuff by though since there's a lot of stuff to check out and from what I gather there's some real gems in their discography.

Love this band. The Prestige, burn me wicked, sense the darkness amongst others are awesome.

I own a few of Illdisposed albums, 1-800 Vindication, Burn Me Wicked and The Prestige. all pretty solid if unremarkable albums, and from what I hear, this new one is of similar quality. I'll give it a listen tho for sure!

Necrotic Nick- Bassline it's very mid-2000's melodeath which I still like but I will say it's kinda generic. I do want to listen to more of their stuff though just to see what all they got.

Their 1st album is quite different and totally worth listening regardless of what u thought on their latest offering. It was a bit different even for the 90s. Try it. One of my favs. Can't really jive with with the rest of their catalog unfortunately

It's just fine Melodic Death Metal and overlooked like I said go hear older albums from 2000's it is pretty good 3/5 another of the Melodic underrated bands that need to be heard more.

Necrotic Nick- I thought it was good. Nothing revolutionary but just solid mellow death for the most part. I do want to check out their earlier stuff though.

Necrotic Nick- Thanks, man! Honestly, I wouldn't limit it to just the 4 and above ones. We all hear music differently so there might be some we rated lower that you might dig more than we did.
