Everyone is saying to just make the tree bigger, but that might break the scale a bit. Perhaps changing the tree type to more of a coniferous pine tree like you have in the village would allow you to go taller without looking oversized. By the way, I absolutely love the factory. This was one of my favorite episodes so far!

I think when you get around to opening up your museum you should have a 'I Spy' style activity sheet for visitors to try and spot each of your stories. You've put a lot of work into them and it would be a nice addon to your museum to try and draw visitors attention to all that's going on in the city by having them try and see how many they can spot.

My idea for the story is to come up with a few stories to evolve over time. So visitors have a reason to come back and spot the changes.. Example: show the criminals making money, then making some sort of mistake or have a snitch talk to the cops, then hide some undercover cops nearby that people can spot as they spy on the criminals and then eventually the police ready to take the criminals down… etc! For the moon you can have experiments that turn bad and break free, heists and runaway cowboys in the west… etc! Long term stories could be a ton of fun, especially if you post online when the story changes, and give out hint cards to visitors to look for the stories, and then maybe just post the stories online just before you change them so people who didn’t visit can keep up/catch up on the stories. That’s just my idea.

Maybe in the little back corner behind the building you could add a little community garden? It would be a little hidden from the front view but it could add a little bit more opportunity for storytelling. Also, the second story of the little tower on the factory could maybe act as an office for a mafia boss, who is preparing to make a quick getaway with the police at his door. Love your content!

regarding your question at 6:00 in the video about whether to add the tree, I think anything you put there will look like it's growing out of the roof of that building from certain angles. So maybe if you put a sidewalk cafe or an outdoor restaurant on that part of the street (with some umbrellas, people sitting around, a few potted plants, etc), at least from some angles it will just look like that building has a patio on the roof.

I think you should defiantly add the rocks by the cliff, gives it a sense of depth, and breaks up repetition, for the factory windows, try adding some planks to act as "boards" just one per window, maybe two on the big ones, enough to give it a truly abandoned effect, but not enough to obscure the view, I also think you should add a hole to the roof that has been patched with a tarp or a metal plate, and maybe a hole in the wall which has hastily been filled in. Both of these add to the buildings illegal's feel and that it is hiding something. That said, I just feel as if there is something off about the factories location, that it should be wedged between two buildings in a shady corner, not by a ledge overlooking a plaza, that would be valuable real estate in real life and the factory would have long been torn down. My suggestion if to move the factory away from the plazas and build a more crowded industrial area. but do keep it visible because it is a cool feature! Do keep it close to the docks though.

For the old factory you should add wood planks over the windows to give a run down and allow some light inside!

That factory is perfect!!! have you considered using ball joints to achieve more interesting rock patterns? maybe something you could consider

It looks like this factory is made to produce joints... So that might work.

you mention the design process and, honestly, i wouldn't mind watching a (short?) mommentated timelapse of that sometimes.

impossible to film a Timelapse of me constantly destroying and rebuilding things :D I tried it, but you don't see any progress ;-)

completely understandable. maybe with any premade set you get or as a sort of quick "here's how to build this cool little thing" at some stage. have you considered maybe having a fixed mounted camera overlooking the whole of the city? could make for a cool timelapse/before-after shot? none the less it is quite interesting watching the city grow.@@Brick_Crafts

You should add a cave in the rock side, and possibly have a story evolving it.

The added rocks sticking out of the water by the diving cliff are perfect! They fill the space in a way that makes the area look more interesting, it adds a vertical variety instead of the rest of the harbor, which is all the same height. It's also more realistic that bluffs and cliffs on a coast have.

I definitely say that you keep the smaller rocks in front of the big cliffs. It's a little silly, but if you're looking for contrast, you can make the tops of them white and put a few seagulls on them lol.

I stumbled upon this channel a while back, and I am always so excited when the KZbin algorithm recommends a new episode. I love your passion, I enjoy hearing your thought process and how you are willing to break down and try something new, and the CreAtIvity to think of so many ways to visually represent such complex things! I am not a LEGO person at all to be honest, but I love seeing how you take an ambiguous problem and artfully "solve" it with time, effort, and creativity; all while using LEGO bricks, which are what they are, and it's up to YOU to use them in their intended and unintended ways. I also enjoy hearing about "illegal" builds, because it makes sense how they may not be "proper" and yet they work in the ways you build them. Please keep it going!

Add the rocks on the water. And keep the corner tree but make it a tad taller. Or maybe a different type of tree. Love everything. 🥳

I really like the illegal flower beds in the factory! Great work, I would leave the tree. In a real city you also have funny angles, they make life fun. Keep it up :D

I really like the idea of the rocks being added off the side of the cliff, especially with some water between them! On a note of the "botany" project the mafia is working on, I have a really good "plant" moc I made for a buddy who also enjoys curating "vegetation". I can send you an email with it if you'd be interested! In that small room you could maybe add a funny "front" business that the mafia uses to hide what is going on there. Either way, this was absolutely hilarious and I had a few good laughs with some friends about it! Thanks for the awesome videos and I hope to be able to visit the museum sometime in the future!

I think it could be very cool to have the roof of the old factory have a mostly glass roof so guests can easily see into it. It's actually fairly common for factories or warehouses to have large glass skylights, or even be mostly glass to let in natural light. It also would give more natural growing light for the "medicinal" plants they're producing

Maybe you can add roof terrace, where people can have a bbq or a party. Or a roof garden, with a greenhouse where tomatoes can grow and different kind of vegetables? Just an idea. I really like what you do with your city! Keep up the good work!😊
