things to add: - hospital + ambulance(?) - fire station - power generation area (solar pannel array or even wind turbine moc? Turbines are big enough that a lego motor could fit into the generator section of the turbine at minifig scale) - skiing mountain :o - beach

For the record, I appreciate how the colors of the restaurant tablecloths coordinate with colors of the outside window awnings, so that stood out to me more than a chessboard effect. Now that I've been watching your series for a while, I enjoy when you pan across the city and I see a detail and think "I was there when we added that" even though I'm just sitting at a computer vicariously experiencing this whole thing :)

Something interesting for these MOCs when you get them all moved could be a sort of Where’s Waldo checklist (maybe with pictures) of the various stories that people can find throughout the city, so they can have fun spotting stuff. And if you tell them ahead of time that there is stuff to look for, people will see the city’s story as having some intentionality to it. You could also direct people to the various stages of the counterfeit story similar to the board game Micro Macro.
@gagelochard37312 жыл бұрын
With the addition of the new squirrel piece I feel you can make a really fun side story about squirrels trying to take over the city. Or a squirrel underground crime ring. 😂😂 it can be like a squirrel version of the counterfeit money story. Maybe there’s even a giant walnut heist at a store or something 😅

I thought robinhood bricks had the best lego city on KZbin but yours might take the cake. The biggest problem I have with 99% of lego cities are that they are all flat and do not incorporate terrain into their cities. However I still love robinhood bricks "stacked and packed" aesthetic and he does incorporate different levels but on your build, I love how it looks like the terrain was there first and the town was built upon it. Even other cities that incorporate terrain usually do not look like natural terrain.
@Elesh_Gyorn2 жыл бұрын
I like the little stories you can spot around town that connect to a larger theme! My only concern is the basketball hoop is in front of the train tracks and any missed shots could put a ball on the tracks…

The really interesting thing about this immense build (to me anyway) is that no matter how much Lego you have, someone always has the part you don’t have. I’ve got a huge amount of Lego, no where near this amount, but I’ve got a huge amount of variety. Even basketballs! I need to make some time to build something soon.
