Illegal Border Crossing in Mexico

Every year, thousands of Mexicans illegally cross the US border. To find out exactly how it's done we went to El Alberto, Mexico to film the experience.
El Alberto lies 800 miles south of the US border in the state of Hidalgo. It's pretty much like any other town of 3,000 people, except in El Alberto they offer tourists the chance to participate in a simulated illegal border crossing. It all happens at a standard recreational park with swimming pools, river trips, zip lines, and the other typical fare. We took a few cameras and headed for the EcoAlberto Park to spend some late-nights running through underground tunnels on the heels of our personal "Coyote" while being chased by border patrol. While we were there, we crashed a quinceñera party and saw El Alberto from the perspective of the locals.

📌Hey incompetent Joe Biden and Democrats another Caravan En Route, Panama Warns 65,000 or More are headed to US open Border. Folks not only was the record for illegal immigrant apprehensions along the southern border shattered in 2021 under Biden’s/ Democrats open border this fiscal year, which ended in September, it concluded with a bang and a final monthly spike of migrants from Haiti (132%), Turkey (89%), India (82%), Ukraine (81%) and even China (75%). The number of illegal aliens from Russia nearly doubled from 758 to 1,432 during the same period, according to year end figures provided this month by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The chilling stats illustrate the magnitude of the national security and humanitarian crisis created by the Biden administration’s and Democrats disastrous open border policies. Not to mention all the illegal drugs pouring in the country that are destined to kill many Americans from overdoses or tainted drugs.

My mom and dad met when they were.. 20. And they met in Mexico. A few years later, they wanted a child. So they risked there own lives to cross from Mexico to here to give me and my siblings a better and healthier life to live from what they experienced as a a Mexican. My grandma also died when I was 2, which she is in a better place now with God looking over all of us! I learned to speak English and proper ways to say words, at the age of 3 I was already speaking fluently in English and Spanish. My family is hard working. My grandpa is old and he is still working to help his family and him. My dad is 40 and works as a construction worker, as well as the grandpa I was talking about, my uncles all work as construction workers, and my dad barely get paid enough to get food, and pay off the house bills. So I also had an old friend that used to make fun of the electronics I played on. She didn't know the struggle my parents went through which it wasn't her fault, I never felt the comfort to tell our struggle to friends. My grandmas grandma is really sick, and so is my grandma from my dads side. But my grandma takes care of her mom even though my grandma is really sick too. I also live in a trailer, don't have nice things, and sometimes have breakdowns bc of ppl being rude to my family. But hey, I'm not going to think negative things! Let's just keep the positive things coming and not think about the people who bring us down! I'd just like to say one more thing, y'all are all amazing now matter what!

Funny how so many people watched the same video, yet didn’t understand the point 🙄... this is a “stimulation” on Mexican territory of people “crossing” the border. They said in the video that it isn’t to “train” them to cross, but to give them a piece of reality of how it really is trying to cross illegally and the guy in the video says that they try to encourage people to fight to make a better life for themselves there in MX and not risk their lives crossing the border. (( but he also mentioned this isn’t even 5% of the struggles they go through)) So much more was said but many good points .. maybe pay attention next time instead of jumping straight to the comments to write your ignorant comments

Its not even mexicans, there are Salvadorians, Hondurans, Panamanians and so on that cross the border. I know this woman had to straighten her hair before entering Mexico so she can pass a Mexican when she crossed the border And for them its actually harder because they would have to cross 2 or even 4 to get to Mexico. Both of my parents are from El Salvador and they told me their story of how they got here and all i can say is that im grateful. Both left in their teens, just imagined leaving your home, your mom or dad to go off and live in a country all on your own. Maybe some of yall don't understand how lucky we are to live in a country like the USA. So maybe y'all should try this and see how it feels. Wonder what the $$$ amount immigrants send BACK ACROSS.....instead of building a better life here. This video has changed my outlook of what immigrants come here for. Seems to be TAKE TAKE TAKE....to leave with American Dollars and go home. Working hard for it, that seems ok, but leaving poverty of masses here.....Displacing the American worker is what is happening. All of the California Democrats need to ENJOY these immigrants, good and bad.

@@user-iz8yx5iy8k I'm glad this video changed your view. My dad and mom were immigrants, and they came here just to live a better life and to provide me and my brothers and sisters an opportunity to live a much better life than from what they endured back in their home country. My dad especially, he saw a lot and went through a lot, especially while crossing the border, just so that he can get a chance at a new life. I respect my dad, he's a very hard worker and puts his family above himself all the time, and stresses and worries, sometimes even cries behind closed doors because he worries about us. But he just doesnt want to show us that side to us at all, he feels like he has to keep a strong face to be a great role model and he is. I feel like that's the case for a lot of these Mexican dads, a lot of them always just have this certain vibe to them, I'm pretty sure it stems from the culture, but its hard to pin down what it is. They're very caring, yet strong people who will do anything for their family, no matter what it cost.

I don't understand this. Many of these border crossers whom you call "illegal aliens" are actually good people. Yet they wish to end the hardships that they experience in Mexico and simply just have a better life here in the US. If they had the money, I'm sure they would enter legally, but the don't. And with all of you wishing to "secure our borders", it would only make their journey more dangerous and it could potentially cost them lives. Please have heart.

Just a simple question....what is a nation without borders? If you can answer that then you'll know why it's a big issue here. The U.S. and the U.K. are the only countries in the world that do not have a cap or limit on the amount of immigrants that are allowed to enter. Every other developed nation and even every 3 rd world nation has limits or caps on immigration. It is just the plain and simple way to keep a country's culture and language secure and strong. The U.K. govt recently stated that they have waaaay too many immigrants in their countries and have stated that as being the reason why working wages have been depleted. The same is happening here.

+arian villagran Just curious, are you American or are you a Mexican? Keep in mind that a nationality is not a race. You can be either a Mexican or an American, and also be of descent from one of many Latino ethnic groups. But if you are an American, then THOSE are your people, it doesn't matter who you share skin color with. This is a problem that a lot of Americans, of many races, have with Mexican immigration. Mexicans will move here but will continue to just consider themselves as Mexicans who happen to live in the USA. Americans understandably have a problem with this. You don't have to give up your Hispanic culture to be an American and you don't have to give up a fondness for the country your family once immigrated from. But when you become a US citizen, then it is your fellow citizens who should be your people first, that's kind of the point of the USA. So your first comment, assuming you live in the USA, is backwards. The Americans are your people, but you love Mexico as well. I love Mexico too, that's where much of my family came from, I'm a Hispanic American.

When life in your country is so bad you are willing to risk your life in the hopes of having a better future. It is truly unfortunate, that many governments are not providing for their citizens, and that so many people in the comment section are vastly ignorant and heartless to the pain and suffering of others.

+EZTIVANS You know people who can't respect a person aren't very educated or cultured. They don't know anything else but things that benefit them.

Another good one, vice. You've captured the reality of the situation pretty well. NAFTA made it impossible to make a living in many parts of Mexico due to cheaper imports coming from the USA and Canada.

Short Story! I came to this country at the age of 14 with student visa graduated high school went back to Guatemala where I was born tried to continue my education there I couldn't had to work to help my mother and the salary there was bad and I was having a hard time getting a job needed credentials to be able to work . found myself feeling like my country was not my country so I decided to return to the US. with $100 dollars in my pocket and a small back pack worked on a truck loading produce part of the way and after. a month of struggles made it to TJ crossed the border by myself. once here I went back to school graduated from USC Biology Mayor worked to support myself while in high school I became a mechanic so I was able to get a job. pay for school and help Mom There are many of us that make it and choose not to succeed I get angry at the ones that are born in this country have all the benefits to do well and they choose to become gang members or drug addicts life is full of choices is up to us to choose the right path! hope my story helps!
