Tip: skip Purifying Heart or Leeching for Crippling on ring and watch rangeds despair with a 6.6s slowing rupture, 5.3s intimidating rush(and cunning dark ascent if you go for that) and 4s cowardly punishment(also increasing empowering leaping strike uptime)

oh yeah 100%, Crippling on ring it's so good. I have a few rings with Crippling for different builds and light players get fuck with that 10% extra. And there is a lot of people not running freedom at all, so the slows last ages. Thanks for the comment, good tip right there! 😁

A full grit ward set would be BIS for this build. You can also drop the Steadfast Purification if you have 3-4 stacks of invigorated. That way you can put a gem slot and get another 24% empowerment.

Ey mate sorry for the late reply 🙏 Yeah invigorated is indeed very good for this build, cut debuff duration in half feels sooo good. I could try grit ward but I'm not a big fan because on my server it is almost all range, there are games where literally I'm the only melee so i need to play very defensive. (Sometimes u find other melees here, but I can't count with that xD ) But yeah I can see grit ward being a solid option in situations where u can be attacking more and playing more aggressively. I'll try to put together a grit set and give it a try anyway 😀 Thanks for ur comment!

Tried this build. It's ineteresting and fun. But I changed something: firstly, the Wall is still questionable in pvp. It has 2 great minuses: it can't have Sturdy Fortification on it and it excludes the Dark Voidplate from your gear. Both of those are extremely important for me as tank, but its up to you ofcourse. But u get up to 15-20% less damage with stacked Sturdy.Fort. than with the Wall active. Secondly i really tried so hard, but still found Endless Thirst inconvinient. Sure its cool to get stronger heals from pots, but CD is really long, Im not used for this :D Anyway it's a good build, making u think and need some practice - not just a spot tank holding block under the healer.

Ey mate, glad to know u are enjoying the build and making changes to make it work better for you! that the goal. Yeah is a fair point. In my server The Wall works extremely good because is pretty much all range and half of that is FS/bb xD But I know in US server slash protection is something important, and there is more a melee heavy oriented meta, so for example, I could see why there is better just a normal shield with Sturdy Fortification over the ele dmg reduction. And ye, this build require more thinking and active gameplay than other version of tanky builds just because how GS works, and the control of the stances to get the best value of it without kill yourself :P About Endless I like it because during pot animation we are exposed, so I rather long cd but stronger effect to avoid those windows of weakness during dirking the pot. But I was playing with BloodDrinker with the leeching passives of GS and it also works pretty well. But ofc I always recommend make the changes needed to adapt it to personal preferences and the meta of each server, because what is optimal and what is not, can vary a lot. btw thanks a lot for ur comment 🙂📈

Been having lots of fun with this setup, only 80% there with the gear but still good. Had the best game tonight, score was 950 ish both teams and baron need for the win, my team was slow ass and i got to baron with 5 of the other team killing it 😞at30%. Run it and they come for me to stop the ninja move, so hunkers down and hold them off for 40s and my team shows up and kills them and baron for the win 😀 would gess they ware not happy 😛

Hahaha that sounds like an epic win xD The good thing about the build is that u don't need crazy gear to make it work. I made the cheapest version with 5 armor pieces of like 300g/e, to test it in a fresh/alt character, and pretty much the same results haha but ofc with good gear it scale to the point u olay in god mode 😎 (I think the next video will be talking about that "secret" gear. Idk if it's intended or what, sometimes it is hard to tell if something is bug or not ,u know, AgS... xD 🤔)

Yeah bro, kinda broken haha with the ultra underrated steadfast tech, it just removed all the weakens of a heavy, self-healing boosting build. I remember each weapon tree/perk and armor perks effects of each weapon except flail and ls, (because I usually theorycraft when I'm not in my laptop so i need remember it) but I completely forgotten about steadfast, it was always a shit perk, but the other day doing testing was like: hmm wait a minute.... this is fucking OP! lol And indeed it is xD

You tried with Michael ? Kite shield's counter attack applies to your GS blue stance shield when you charge your heavy. Free 30% empower. (I did not play this build for 2 or 3 weeks tho maybe they patch the counter attack applying to your other weapon).

Does Steadfast need to hit a target to apply the cleanse?

Yup, it's a "on hit" effect. Steadfast has 2 parts, the first stab forward and the second hit when "pull back to rip the blade out" each hit reduces the debuff duration 66% It is 132% to counter any possible increased duration, like enemies running Infected on ring to make disease last 32% extra.

ey bro sorry for the late reply!! 😅 U could use invigorated on gear and also works fine, is not an instant clean but helps to reduce rends/weakens effects (and others but those 2 are the most important) And if u use serenity for pve better keep the gemslot and use normal jasper on it. If people is trash talking to u, then u are doing good hahaha a lot of people like to pewpew and kill, not play the objectives of the map, if u play objectives and u can't die quickly, they will hate u. In general with this build u are going to die trying to use GS, because if u are in onslaught stance u take 15% more dmg, in comparison with have sns out and blocking, where u take 30% less dmg, so we could say that u are taking 45% more total dmg with GS in onslaught XD So u need be careful, also if u get CC using GS, swap to SnS, u can swap during CC effects and that will make that the dmg u take when u are on the ground or stun will be reduced A LOT for all the sns passives and The WALL. then if u want, swap back to GS, but as soon as u get knock down, swap, to sns always. Other tip, and a very important one, is give ur back and take backstab dmg instead of block the attacks (not always). Is 1000 times better keep your shield up and take backstab dmg than let them break ur block. a way to think about the reduction involved in blocking with your shield is that is equivalent to have 12 onyx and 12 opals extras, u really really don't want to lose 24 gems power. So block with u shield, but if they are going to break it, turn back and keep ur shield up. Also if u are running serum (ulala fancy player 😋😂) hold them, until u really need it. CD is very long and in many situations that looks bad, are not that bad and u can survive anyway without use it. U could also have slotted normal regen pots, serum, health pot and mana pots. use mana pots to gain the extra fortify before to jump in or when u have a second to drink it, but don't pot if u have 5 people hitting u because during the pot animation u will take a shit ton of dmg. So u use normal regen pots all u want, and u have the serum as panic button. Before to use health and serum pots I like to use defensive resolve to increase the regen a bit further, but if not possible because CD or because u need that healing asap, just use ur pots straight away. I hope it helps a bit! and at the end of the days there is practice too, so keep it up! 💪

As far as I know, it doesn't, but ur stamina is always 143(with hearty) so u can attack while blocking forever with Defiance Stance without running out of stamina, no matter how much they attack you.

How to proc "Faultless Defender" ?

On Defiance Stance while you are charging heavy attack there is a blue barrier that protects you, that blue barrier is Guard Point. So it proc when u are actively reacting to block, or charging heavys on Defiance Stance. The idea is that u can't just hold block. I don't remember the exact frame time, but something like 1 second, maybe a bit more. But It doesn't have internal cd ,so u could block, stop blocking , block ,stop and spam it that way to kinda 'hold block' and still get the benefit.

@@HGM-FR I think depends how you wanna play the build. Relentless is really good, and with the perk on armor ( Relentless Freedom) it's a great mobility and free jail card so in general I like to have it on every build. Rupture is really strong but is slow and ez to dodge, so in general is bad for low scale fights but really good for clumpy fights. (U can't be interrupted for 5 sec after use it so u are free to move and attack after use it) For like a clumpy version, relentless, rupture and one of the other 2 Defiance abilities could be really good. My advice is to play a few games with each version and see what feels better for you. I did that, and that's how I found the different combinations of abilities that I like depending how I plan to play it. You don't really need weapons perks besides relentless freedom that makes the abilities way more strong and useful. I know it is quite an open answer, but GS is very versatile and performs well in very different setups, the thing is find the one you enjoy the most 😁

Hi mate, yeah I think it was from expedition. But (1) Sturdy Energy, (2) Health, (3) whatever. As last perk you could use conditioning, enchanted ward probably better than Ele aversion. We already have insane elemental dmg reduction, so have some extra reduction to non-magic left click is good.

At the end of the day we are a tank the high mobility light builds can run away. But to kill them I usually play defensive, let them come close, waste some abilities, and if they used some of the mobility abilities to do dmg, that's the moment where I start to counter attack. But yeah if there is a good dex high mobility light player, they can run away. But isn't our job chase those people, that the job for assassin build, we play on point. They can't kill us we can't kill them but we control the point, so we win haha

Yeah pretty much anything is better than refreshing 😂 I use that one because it is what I had and I like to show that u don't need full BiS to make my builds work 😁 But u could use enchanted ward, elemental aversion, conditioning perks ( if u are in US servers, probably slash conditioning but fire or thrust are good too) invigorated isn't a bad perk either. If u have frigid gear, that one is really good, just add health to it and u are gucci. (Frigid is the glacial tarn special set, it comes with enchanted ward and elemental aversion, an illegal combination)

All jasper runeglass are bug as far as I know. When I tested it, I got only 1 stack and not only that, the duration did not refresh like with normal jasper. So runeglass is super bug for now, not worth it.

Yeah this version of the build it's a bit busted :V With Steadfast and Relentless perks I'm like a train without brakes. And Accelerating resolve + OPR cakes.... W is my gap closer LOL In "small" scale fight there isn't much to do against it, with this setup u have an answer for pretty much everything :) And I love the mask; actually, today I just made it my profile picture, HAHA. I bought the mask like 1 month before transmog, and wait patiently. It was the first one I made on day 1 or 2 when we got transmogs. It's the one I've used the most since then. (and I flip some from 45 gold to 9k lol) The full set was the best value of my 5 tokens I could possibly get xD

I know some people play with michael but I don't like it enough. U can block way less than with tower shield and WAAAY less than using The Wall. If the empower on block still works in GS it could be good for more dmg, but my server is pure elemental dmg, I'll get cooked if I swap Wall for Michael haha But I rekon that it could be viable in other servers.

I really want to try some maelstrom and grav action, but to hunt range I'm playing left tree. If at some point there is enough melee in my server, I'll for sure try other setups. With rapier I could even use grav- maelstrom​- dark ascent execute or something like that, and get out of there with rapier. But right now there is no such thing as clumps, it's just a bunch of range shooting from far away xD I'll try to do those things during races, but I'm usually working during races time :(.@@Ersb99

It's seriously good. Oh and with Musket forget it, elemental dmg is reduced to nothing with my setup and with serum up i heal more than the dps u can do even at very low con + i can always block all ur shoots and never run out of stamina. Also GS block while attacking during defence stance. I only die with this build going full greedy, but if u play normally and not trying to tank 10 people for 5 minutes alone, u could never die. Healing and dmg reduction is just insane and if I use accelerated resolve + cakes I have 37% haste.... So I can just run away xD And GS cleanses any root,slow and all my debuff like rend or disease. So when I'm going to pop my pots, I clean up, shield up and heal back to full no problem :V With the wall i can block for ages. I always cut clips just to keep the video entertaining, the reality is that people stop watching in parts where I show long fights without much action, when the video "slow down", but I think I'll start to add the final score of the match of the used clips, because people that are not in my server sometimes have doubts about if its just pure editing or is actually decent build, and it's a fair question. I want to make funny videos but I don't want to fool people, if the build is bad or fully meme, I'll mention it everywhere and make it clear to prevent people from wasting gold in stupid builds xD

​@@kulodrak3650 My recommendation is always try new builds with cheap gear, because the build can be OP but maybe is not something that you personally like to play. For this build in particular I would say that the most important pieces are, the artifact shield, earring and greatsword. For GS I would recommend craft gem slot on it if u are new because u could use serenity for pve or other builds. For armor perks Relentless Freedom, extremely good only avail on chest, Sturdy Energy, it's too good for this build (if u block with 42 stamina or less ur stamina will be back to full in no time, but remember u need stop blocking to recharge stamina, this perks helps to reduce that window where we need stop blocking) Accelerate resolve is also very nice to have, and then, health everywhere. For the rest of the perks, it could be anything u can find cheap tbh, elemental aversion, enchanted ward, slash/thrust/fire conditioning, invigorated is also quite useful. So any piece with health and any combination of those perks it's fine. refreshing is a bit lower tier than the other perks but let's say u fin a piece with relentless freedom/invigorated or refreshing/slash protection, that's good enough because relentless perk is even better than health and drop 1 or 2 health is not a huge difference anyway. And about musket, right now the weapon is in a weird spot tbh, is argue one of the build/weapons that u need a very specific setup, aka expensive gear to make it compete with other weapons/builds. Yeah to be fair, the other version with SnS/flail didn't hit that hard, not even close (like half or less) and works more like a fully tank/support role. But Serenity, that's a different story, that GS hits hard AF with hevys. The illegal combo of double boosting to heavys attacks is busted xD But I strongly agree that we need more identity/balance related to load.

To kombinacja redukcji obrażeń, dużej regeneracji życia na sekundę i krwiodawstwa (lifesteal). Samo blokowanie tarczą i mieczem redukuje otrzymywane obrażenia o 30%, a tarcza artefaktu "The Wall" jeszcze bardziej zmniejsza obrażenia, zwiększając jednocześnie naszą wytrzymałość do 143, co pozwala na długotrwałe blokowanie. Z drugiej strony kombinacja 50 punktów umiejętności Fokus, artefaktu w postaci kolczyka (endless thirst), drzewa umiejętności Miecz i tarcza, a także atrybutu boskiego na amulecie - to praktycznie cała możliwa regeneracja życia w grze, nakładająca się jedno na drugie Mam nadzieję, że to, co napisałem, ma sens, ponieważ korzystałem z translatora i sztucznej inteligencji do napisania tego tekstu 😄

Hi mate, thanks for ur comment ❤ hmm what u mean? In my opinion, the most important perk to have in the sword is refreshing moves. And any 2 dmg perks. Leap strike is good for some extra burst after we jump on top of someone, but attunement, rogue or penetrating backstab are solid perks too, KJ or KE. I'm running that sword because was the better i had with 2 dmg perks and refreshing moves haha

​@@lordhells2973 Depende como quieras jugarlo, pero podrias usar ambas. Yo fui probando toas las combinaciones de habilidades hasta encontrar con la que me sentia mas comodo. Pero la unica habilidad que siempre uso es "Libertad implacable" porque con el perk en la armadura te liberas de realentizaciones y roots (como el grito del guantelete de vacio o trampas de mosquete etc) Lo que tiene de especial golpe firme es que si pones el perk en el espadon, cuando golpeas a alguien te limpia todos los debuff, todos XD Y poder limiarte los effectos de, Debilidad (reduccion de daño) Daño (reduccion de armadura) Enfermedad (reduccion de curaciones ) es una diferencia brutal. En general la gente usa gema para le 9% de daño, pero si yo puedo limpiar un effecto de Debilidad que me reduce el daño base 43%, pues mucho mejor, al final termino haciendo mas daño y no solo eso, que al limpiar los efectos que reducen mi armadura aguanto mas y limpiando los efectos de enfermedad antes de usar mis pociones me puedo curar hasta un 50% mas, todo eso solo sacrificando 9% de daño :P (Ademas tambiente limpia sangrados y effectos de daño en el tiempo)

2x decent bruisers with hammer and armor break > You become an izi snack. ive actually managed to kill similar builds 1v1 quite easy with the hammer, however most ranged users cant do much against this, and most players overall are absolutely terrible at the game 😆 Nobody plays tank nowdays, so nobody knows how to kill them

The concept here is that he's cleaning debuffs namingly rend and weaken which are the two worst ones to get hit with in heavy armor, I kill tanks daily in 1v1s with spear and rend capping them. The one tank I can't kill runs djinn head warp and full invigorated this wipes my rends form me., this build is the same concept. The higher the armor value the more damage rends will do , thus cleaning a debuff in heavy armor is godley

@@OsirisTheGrand-wf5gp True but using the wall and not being able to dodge hammer abilities seams to me like a death sentence. Once that stamina hits 0 then its CC combo deluxe to death. Only thing is: Most people dont know that, and dont know how to play or take advantage of a tanks weakside.

Ey mate, is a fair point, and I can understand that people that are not on my server could have some doubts. I could upload a full OPR but 5 no one is going to watch it. Actually when the videos "slow down" a bit, people stop watching it, imagine a raw clip. But I can tell u that my goal is to make funny videos, not fool people, I don't want people wasting gold in stupid builds that don't really work, they will hate me for that, and with good reasons, is not honest from my side and in the long run is not even good for me as a content creator. If I make a full meme build that is not good, it is just funny to troll and have fun, I'll mention it everywhere :) For the following videos I'll start to add final score screenshots of the match I take clips, maybe that helps a bit. Also this build was already replicated for more people, and they get +/- same results in a short time.
