So about the CD thing: CD players came out in the early 80s, and were used in homes a lot throughout the 90s and early 2000s, and only started being in cars around the late 90s and early 2000s. For example, my car is a 2000 and has a CD player which was the high-end stereo option, base option was cassette

The engine is probably pushrod, only very basic 4cyl older cars use direct OHC if I remember correctly. Also the rear offset is way too far in. But this is like a bootleg Grand Marshal so it isn’t a big deal! Cool video! Edit: never mind the engine is correct

The Ford modular is a single OHC V8, which is what the modern Gavril V8s are based on. Crown Victorias have used the modular since the 90s, and they were also used in all of Ford's trucks starting in the late 90s. Most modern engines use OHC setups, with exceptions like GM's LS series of motors.

the real vics used corrosion resistant steel. so its reasonable. also, the vics used aluminium motors to save weight, and it was a overhead cam, on top of that it they are SUPPOSED to use either a 5.0 v8 (pre 1993) or a 4.6 v8 (1994 to 2013).

The grand marshal is a base of the Ford crown victoria and was a good automation rebuild and here’s a thought for you V2 version if you do it just a few tweaks but to it slightly more accurate should’ve given it the 3.55 or 3.73 final gear ratio along with a viscous lsd and I’m not sure on the beam mock up of the engine size but it is a 4.6L SOHC V8... enough of my rambling but amazing vid YBR should build the Barstow next
