Instead of it costing us money why not think about fireworks making the state money with tax revenue or something? Make something illegal people are gonna want it more no matter what you do. People will get illegal fireworks in Hawaii and the profits go to the black market instead of the state. I’m not saying I agree with using illegal fireworks, but to ban fireworks altogether sucks because it was a part of my childhood and a part of growing up that I wish I could still have today. I get the Maui fires was a tragedy but I don’t recall it being started by fireworks. Wasn’t it from downed power lines? So how come the power grids not being banned? This kinda feels like the War on drugs and look how that’s going……..
