If non-citizens don't vote in federal elections, and the Dems don't have any long term plans to let non-citizens vote, why are they so afraid of legislation which prevents non-citizens from voting? Dems say this is a waste of time, but they had no problem wasting time on kneeling in kente cloth and countless other frivolous activities. Here's the reality: Lefty cities have been letting non-citizens vote more and more in local elections, non-citizens are counted for the census, which gives districts more power, and many, many Dems would love to find a way to allow non-citizens to vote in federal elections.

As a poll worker in New Mexico, I cannot ask for any ID at all. The person gives their name and maybe confirms birthdate and/or address and if their name shows up on the voter registration list, they are allowed to vote. I could pick name out of the obituaries, look up their address, go in and vote that person. Or I could go in and vote as my neighbour. I believe out elections end up with the correct results but have to admit, the lack of ID verification does concern me.

I agree. But one way that you could know it’s really not a big issue, it’s because Republicans in office don’t really believe it is. Because if they believed it was an issue then when they wanted to pass requirements for identification they would also throw a little bit of money at making sure everybody got some form of free identification. Even if it was just a real cheap one with no photo it was only sent to the address of the person who registered. That would be better to do an actual photo identification but make sure there’s a local place they can take the photo and has hours available for people who work and cannot take off. But why is it the Republicans that would do that, it’s because one of two reasons. First, they don’t really want the law passed because then they can’t keep fear mongering over it. Second, they know it’s really not a problem.

Learners permit was free, first drivers license was free, you get 1 free ID per address, and if you just report your ID stolen you also get a free replacement. In reality it's actually mostly the Democrat states that don't have voter ID where you can't get free ones. Like states are legally required to give you free IDs if they require an ID for voting. Any state with voter ID is required by law to give it to you for free. The problem can easily be fixed but some states choose not to, and the majority of those states aren't republican. That's why it's mostly democrats against voter ID, because they are the ones who don't already give out free ones.

Example 1: an article by the Washington post article from March of this year reported that a federal judge upheld DC's voting rights laws for non citizens. Example 2: last December, another article by Spectrum News discusses a voting measure for non citizens in California to vote effective this year. Example 3: Ballotpedia and Verify This identify 17 municipalities and cities that allow non citizens to vote. Example 4: Justice-dot-gov (can't list the actual site here) Said a federal court struck down Arizona's voter registration requirements for proof of citizenship. Example 5: local news from Washington State reported non citizens receiving ballots and auto-registered to vote despite some of them indicating they are not eligible. These were found within a few minutes and not difficult to look up. It's happening even if though you're covering your eyes and ears

does your state provide driver's licenses to undocumented people? mine does. they used to give them "id's", but now they get a driver's license just like a normal citizen would receive. does your state allow undocumented people to vote in all elections except federal elections (state and municipal)? mine does. and both of the things i listed above are also true in the state to the north of mine. the state to the west of mine provides driver's licenses to undocumented people. there is pending legislation to allow undocumented people to vote in all but federal elections in this state. all of the laws in these three states - regarding providing licenses and allowing voting - are VERY RECENT laws. anyone who says that legislatures are NOT moving toward allowing undocumented people to vote is either delusional or uninformed. this is a new trend. in that we have permitted numbers of undocumented persons equal to or over the population of some states (almost like adding another state regarding population growth), open your eyes and understand that this actually IS a clear and present danger. this video is propaganda imho. do your research. do not allow yourself to be mislead by videos like this one. the states i refer to above are: RI, MA & CT.

There are a large number of citizen voters that have expressed concern about Federal election integrity. So many, in fact, that investigations have been conducted, suits have been filed throughout the country and large protests have been held on this issue as well. While there may not be a large amount of evidence yet regarding this concern there is also very little evidence that recent election integrity measures have prevented any legal citizens from registering to vote. Recent federal elections have actually shown record numbers of voters have both registered and voted. Re-assuring citizens that federal elections aren’t susceptible to fraud is the most basic part of our system. Remove the largest concerns with fraud and it will eliminate this issue.

This is the most important thing you do as a citizen. Only citizens should vote. We should all be for Citizenship verification when registering to vote. Very good idea. Other things that we should do to stop voter fraud is to limit mail in ballots to people out of town. Serial numbers on ballots. NO BALLOT HARVESTING. In Australia every citizen over 18 must vote, it’s mandatory. This would be the solution for the United States. Illegals are counted on the census and the census determines how many electoral votes and represantives you get in your state so if California has 20 million immigrants that means they will allocate more electoral votes and congressmen to that state.
