He’s asking social worker, etc… those people playing workers at Agencies to do their jobs. That’s peculiarity, their on working their shift and leaving and just meeting their quotas or just meeting to get notes- most of them have class room experience and get licensed and then they think they know all things - the system is horrible in New York the agencies are milking state and federal funds turning people out and they go get the same nothing at another agency. Most of the agencies in New York do head counts to get funds- the workers without certifications and licensing do the work and don’t get the pay for their labor / this guy talking about things that work and don’t know those with licenses see going out to do field work see that a vechical below them, that’s why other jobs paying less like case managers, case coordinators, advocates, etc,,, jobs were created- to note what those with licenses could use to note because they’re mandated by compliance and the funds are allocated on the books from the state via federal funds, the state is paying a lot of money to agencies in New York some agencies are making millions - social workers they show up to lunches, meetings and classes to upgrade but the hearts in the pockets is a paycheck because they feel they are above going out of the office unless it’s remote or on the phone, and if the client comes to them in the office. Convenience is the game in social workers in New York and bragging rights on their licensing and book knowledge or case studies. If you’re noticing when speaking with people on medicine most or diagnose with the same mental health. The DSM has a trillion diagnostics, but they are using just the common ones on different clinical clients, if you work in it you will see - it’s a revolving door- and eventually think why are these people/clients on the same meds, diagnostics, notes, prognosis, etc. I believe the licensed clinicians are given free range to do however they feel as long as it doesn’t affect or dismantle their jobs funds received and especially the agency holding their licenses. It’s cat and mouse > Funds and then > compliance to make the books look legit. The services most receive are medical referrals, medication (most on the same), benefits- welfare they can do themselves, and handed over to others except a conversation for notes. It’s a revolving door.
