We stayed once at Valley of Fires campground in NM, right after they resurfaced the roads and RV sites. It was the most unlevel campsite front to rear that we ever stayed at, forcing us to raise the front wheels of our motorhome about 6 inches off the ground to get level. Not only that, but the water pressure was 90 psi! I made a mistake by attaching our Clear 2o water filters to the spigot and then connected the pressure regulator between the filter and the hose. About a minute later, my water filter housing cracked with a bang, spraying water everywhere, as it is only rated to 60 psi. It's a good thing I was using a pressure regulator, or I would gave burst a pipe inside our motorhome. Moral of the story: always connect your pressure regulator to the water spigot first, before any hoses or filters.

@@SuperSushidog Oh wow! That is crazy about the sites being that unlevel! We completely understand about the PSI being too high. We too have blown a Clear 2o water filter because we did not have the pressure regulator on and now we always have the pressure regulator on even if we are just filling a water can because we have busted 2 water filters because of high pressure. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew

So sorry for all your challenges. We are in the same predicament. One of our front jacks completely failed and the trailer is “stuck” on the truck! We’ve contacted Lippert and replacements are on the way. We only have an 800 mile to get to the family member’s home the part is being shipped to😂 Great job handling the difficulties!

We have that same table, we love it! Wow, this is so sad to see. We have been at campgrounds that make it difficult to use our surge protector and that is unacceptable. It's so sad when you have to deal with shady work. Glad your wheel covers are fixed.

You were in my backyard. I may have been one of those Golfers using our "large 4-letter vocabulary". Good to see the Larry H. Miller Ford dealership follow-through when making a mistake. When Larry (a great man) and his family owned the dealerships they were top notch, but the family sold all their dealerships after Larry passed away and I've wondered how the service levels would hold up. Drive safe and Enjoy Utah!

After all of this, what would be the best site to go in at the Gladstan RV Park? (Also, one with proper electrical hookups) We tow a Grand Design Imagine 2670MK. I would like to go here and play golf too. Bummer about the hub cover not being installed properly - at first I thought they put your lug nutz on crooked (Stripped threads) - I hope that wasn't the case. Safe travels I'll send you pictures of our recent trip to Oroville calif (Beautiful fall colors)

We would pick the row that has 31 in it. We had 2 sites in that row, 31 and 34, so when you look at their map online, they have the spaces numbered and that should help you when picking a site. Well, things can always be worse. You could have your phone quit and lose everything on it. Then spend ten hours talking to a dialect of English you can't stand or understand for 5 days. On top of that, lose all your contacts and realize your family never calls you in all that time. They still have not answered a dozen FB messages thru laptop attempts to talk to family. 😱😰😭

I would think that your 5th wheel camper is set up for 50 amp service. 30 amp service (you may have been connected to that) is 30 X 120 volts or 3600 watts. 50 amp service is two 50 amp services or 2 X 50 X 120 = 12000 watts or the actual delivery is 50 amps X 240 volts = 12000 watts. It may sound like a lot, but you could be using close to that when plugged into 50 amp service. 2 Air conditioners, hot water on AC, compressor refrigerator, converter, washer/dryer, toaster, coffee machine, computer, charging all of your stuff, water pump and hair dryer to name a few. I am not saying you did not have a campground problem, but look at your power requirments also. Don

@@BrokenDreamsReborn i am an electronics engineer. I have been into camping for 50 years. My motorhome is set- up for 50 amp 240 volt service when plugged into 50 amp service. It is automatically switched over to 3 dedicated inverters for a total of 8000 watts of power from my batteries. I would suggest you find someone to look into your needs and re-engineer your system.
