Digging straight down/up is perfectly fine,with feather falling/protection 3 or 4 lava can’t be too much of a problem.Digging straight up is fine too,once your above y-11 there is no lava basically anywhere and for grave just place a torch at your feet

Here’s a tip: if you wanna escape the mines, put a torch on the same block you’re on and mine up. The torch will save you from falling blocks. Then use the same blocks to build up. Once you can’t build up anymore (you’ve gotten to the top) repeat.

I started my new world 3 days ago. Soon after I got an iron pickaxe I dug straight down and hit bedrock. Left the cave with 17 diamonds and just made a diamond pick lmao. There are a few more I can think of. In a cave, don't use up your pickaxe unless you have/can make a spare. Don't make a wall around your house or anything significant without a entrance. If you're going to make a house's exterior look good, please do the same for the interior.

1. The rabbit stew is less filling but has greater durability and the food bar lasts longer but if you do what you did, eat the rabbit then the potato and carrot. But eating the carrot last makes your food bar last less, eating the rabbit last longer 2. Repairing your tools makes making modifications to the anvil such as putting enchantments or fusing an almost broken but enchanted pickaxe with a new, enchanted one also makes your uses of this method reduced it will say "is too cheap" in a Moment

0:56 I question why you wouldn't want to avoid spawnproofing your farm to begin with. I usually have mine growing under my base. near my mine entrance, sectioned off with a separate door of course. Makes having to build large structures around your farm a non-issue, plus nothing will get in your farm to trample on it, even passive mobs can cause damage to farmland. At least have a fence surrounding it if nothing else.

Here's some tips: * Never go afk wearing your good gear. If you're afk in a slime chunk you can get killed by a slime * Place a torch at your feet before digging up. * Bows from a skeleton farm seem like trash but you can use them as furnace fuel to smelt all the iron/gold/chain armor you get too * Use your fists to kill slimes. The baby slimes die in 1 hit anyway so you're just wasting durability. Medium slimes die in 2 hits. Magma cubes are pretty similar

3 logs + 2 planks = 14 planks -> 21 smelted items, and 3 logs + 2 planks -> 3 charcoal = 24 smelted items. So converting your logs to charcoal and using that as fuel is even more efficient than converting them to planks plus the planks required to ''smelt'' the logs and then use them as fuel. Another way to calculate it (which may be easier to understand): 7 logs provides you with 28 planks -> smelts 42 items 1 log gives 4 planks -> smelts 6 other logs giving you 6 charcoal -> smelts 48 items (54 if you include the logs as well) Edit: Or just don't use any diamonds at all to repair your pickaxe. Just use a book of mending, and keep it in your off-hand slot when going to e.g. a mob/xp farm.

I dig straight up... but i put a torch on the block im on before breaking blocks above me. Also i have a water bucket in hand incase of lava. Therefore digging up is faster IF you are prepared and know how to do it without dieing

Diamond hoe is mandatory if you're trying to farm nether trees. I have mine enchanted with unbreaking and efficiency. A stone pick with efficiency 5 might do something cool, but I'm not enchanting a new one every time the stone or even iron one breaks
