That also made Cal really special as of the few who survived the encounter of Darth Vader. I wonder were Cal, Cere and Merrin are in the canon. But tbh this story deserves a trilogy even if it goes outside of canon and makes Cal the new chosen one or new way of saving the empire(Maybe by introducing some other threat). This game was perfect: Exploration, action, some bits of rpg(Sadly few decisions to make or relations to grow but still) those perks also didn't feel that good. Cosmetics were decent and most important = FREE. They either make a trilogy or give us the same sized DLC for an epilogue. I've heard people that Cal dies just before the Return of the Jedi, but I still haven't found anything confirming Cal Kestis to be in the canon so idk

@@dawidpotega882 So far as I can ascertain, everything presented is cannon; the Second and Ninth Sister were in the new comics, so and Fortress Inquisitorius is right where its supposed to be. Where they take Cal's story, who knows. I mean, they did retcon/confirm that the old Rebel Trooper in RotJ was, indeed ol' Cap'n Rex.

Or maybe he saw something else than a Jedi in Cal. In recent years one thing Star Wars has done right is how really displaying how frightening Vader was. From Rogue one, even to rebels and the comics. Vader wasn't even mentioned from what I remember once during the story really but as soon as you heard that breathing and the footsteps you knew shit was about to go south for you!

It's true. The original movie showed him as terrifying, but at the end of his prime. It's great to have seen when he was at his full strength. In Fallen Order he's never mentioned directly, but Cere does talk about a dark figure, who almost broke her. It was all that was needed to be said tbh.

That's why he was able to outduel Cere with only one hand, since he had already perfected his fighting style by mixing elements of different forms. Yeah, I'm one of the people that agreed with Cal's decision. It was definitely the best call to have him destroy the holocron. I'm pretty sure that Merrin had addressed that angle earlier on in the game too, as well as the vision on Bogano.

The thing about that vision is that it isn't guaranteed. Sometimes, they're not even true visions, just ones that play on your own deepest doubts and fears. That aside, I do agree that destroying the holocron was for the best. The children are safer scattered in anonymity than if they were all gathered in one place. Ignoring the hordes of imperial soldiers and the Inquisitors, there a few alive at that time capable of going toe to toe with Vader.

@@rob1don311 That's what Satele Shan and Darth Marr teach the players in The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire. Marr learned that the Jedi were right all along ("There is no death. There is only the Force. And it has a plan.") while Satele admits that the Jedi were too stubborn in following only the light side. The ultimate truth that they both learned from conversing with each other was that the Force just is, and there's no real sense in forcing a dichotomy between the light and dark sides. I kinda wish TOR was canon in some respects.

I don't know if Starkiller does anything more impressive than that in the legends stories or not, but I was under the impression that that was considered one of his most impressive feats with the force, and if not, then feel free to correct me. But I got the info that him holding back the ocean was way more impressive than what Starkiller does from a "The Science" video on it from The Game Theorists. So if you want to argue this with me could you please go watch that video first, since that would save me having to explain everything said in that video in extensive detail.

So I just finished my first playthrough of Fallen Order, and I had a very emotional reaction to the Darth Vader sequence. It was probably the most impactful moment in my star wars fandom. I went to youtube afterwards to see if others reacted the way that I did, but most of them were just hyped or laughing lol. It wasnt until I found your youtube video that I saw someone who reacted similarly. I especially liked that you mentioned rogue one, as before this that was my favorite scene in all of star wars because of how they finally did vader some justice in mainstream media. This sequence was so well done. Trilla didn’t show any kind of fear throughout the story. In fact, she was cocky as fuck. But when Darth Vader showed up you could feel her fear. Everybody’s gangsta until Vader shows up. 😂

When i saw Trilla being slashed and and Cere falling to the abism,I legit attacked Vader with all my forces enraged,it was useless,i hope there was a mode to have an endless battle with vader or a Secuel could be Welcome.
