I played an absolute garbage build when finally getting Illidan. Even had Zapp as a permanent minion in my final comp just because I wasn't offered much. Still managed to get second place. His buddy is crazy good.

In the first two games of the new patch I played Illidan. Got 1st and 2nd place with elementals and quillboar menagerie. Having two immune attacks on a giant golden tempest is ridiculous. Chaining multiple cleave attacks in a row too.

I watched the end on stream, but i didn't realise tarecgosa had immune. They are definetly just gonna delete tarecgosa, like all of the really good heros are using that strat. Illidan would still be op without it though.

I honestly don't think Tarcgosa was the OP minion here. Sure the inmune while attacking being permanent was neat but the real threat was the amalgadon soloing half of the enemies' boards and surviving.

eh... I mean its a little unbalanced, but quite frankly its only while attacking. a divine shield poisonous build with extra divine shields could still beat this pretty easily. The STRONGEST card in his build was the divine shield poisonous windfury amalgadon (with the immunity of course).

In terms of top 25% winrates, he is actually just the third strongest. Millificent has a big lead over Illidan on winrate.

@@tier7gaming It doesn't matter that it's only immune while attacking because it's _guaranteed_ to attack first, and with windfury it's guaranteed to attack twice in a row without taking any damage or even removing the shield. There is literally not anyway to play around this. Not just a "little" unbalanced dude lol.

I like that Teracosa takes the effect of immunity while attacking. I didn’t realised in the beginning but got first place in the first match. Really unbalanced atm.

Teracgosa needs to go tbh, Brukan giving it infinite attack and tons of health, Illidan giving it immune while attacking permanently, it can fit in almost every build, for how easy it is to get Teracgosa and how much variety there is in getting it powerful fairly consistently just feels overwhelming, but then proto-drake feels like a waste of time gold and space tbh.

I love this update. Yes, I'm losing more than before, I'm older and it's taking a little longer to get used to the changes. (stay longer at level 1, take minions with high attack instead of small tokens for the buddy meter, etc.) but the possibilies that are possible thanks to the buddies. It's just so crazy.

After the patch, my first game was with Illidan. I didn't go crazy but i did manage to get 2 taragosa's up to 25/25ish with divine shield on top of the immunity that gave me 1st place. very fun hero.

My best builds so far have been Nozdormu Bat Demons eating the buffed buddy tavern minions, Brann Sefin Murlocs with buffed up stats, and Amalgam double buffs with mechs for diving shield. Quick stats seem good with no armor. As predicted lots of people are delaying tavern ups for buddy progress and the tempo is higher.

As fun as Terecgosa can be, I really do think she needs to be removed from the game. The buddy system especially breaks the card and I think overall BGs would be better off without her

It's only broken because of the buddies. I mean maybe you could argue to move it up a tier or nerf it's stats or something, but otherwise I think it's not crazily unbalanced.

I think the issue is more frequency than balance. It's like what Amalgam used to be at tier 2. They wanted a option that was all tribes, but it was too good at that stage so they replaced it with a tier 6 minion that had a similar utility, but was also better in that it could adapt for all sorts of effects, which ultimately made it a cooler card in the process of solving most of the issues people had with it.

I played a game as Greybough right? I had basically the best summoning-minion pool (Demons, Mechs, Beasts, Pirates... and then Murlocs)... It mustve been rigged because i barely saw anything that worked with my hero power. I ended up getting a gold Scallywag, and another Scallywag, and never saw an Icky Imp or Micro Mummy or anything more useful. RNG is fucking wild, and with everyone else actually having a buff from their buddies, i got stomped into last place. Feels bad man

My boomer APM could not cope with playing finley with alexstrazsa and then getting a bran yesterday. Rush tavern 6 and hunt for every kalec with 4 vael was too much for me
