All of a sudden in the 2nd half, the refs just stopped calling fouls against Illinois, and the game transitioned from basketball to football. The Illini took full advantage, beating the crap out of the Nebraska players with impunity. They never stopped calling Nebraska for fouls, so the Huskers had no chance to compete. This is why college basketball sucks.

late reply, this is what i saw… Nebraska could not compete with illinois, because at every position illinois had more talent. They had the best player, the better coach, etc. It was a nice little season by nebraska, but they had no shot beating illinois
