Other than Scrabble and Boggle I've not played any other word games and I like the sound of this one. Really feels like it needs to be played to determine if it's worth holding on to beyond 1 or 2 plays making it tougher to decide to back or not.

I saw your video today after we've played through our copy a few times. @ 9:30, you discarded all tiles that no longer formed valid words. I shot an inquiry about that to Gap Closer Games to ask about that, and they replied that you do not discard tiles this way after a villain attack. The only time you would do that is after word building when you dump all of the unused letters into the library. Just wanted to comment on that as I thought we were playing the game wrong. Could be a fun alternate method though, just to make it trickier.

Do you think it's possible to play with words from different languages? Or is the letter distribution not good for that? Very interested in this one!

For sure possible, but I don't think the letter distribution or rare tiles are balanced around other languages.

This has been a popular question on the campaign and the game was definitely designed specifically for English, and while some languages can make it work, it may not work as well. We're in talks with a partner to bring this game to multiple languages in the future hopefully.

Are these letters wood tiles or chipboard tiles?

This is the Deluxe version (Wooden Tiles about 1.5x the size of Scrabble, painted white). There is a Standard Edition that is 3mm chipboard.
