I love, love, love this! Could you do this with tissue paper and Mod Podge and get decent results? That’s what I have
@KarenBurchillАй бұрын
Tissue paper will look different, that being said...you have nothing to lose if you give it a try. It may not go as translucent , it wont have the other texture elements of rice paper ...but you may like what it does give you. Also all tissue papers are not the same either. Have fun and experiment. K

Beautiful do you add water to your ink tense blocks
@KarenBurchill23 күн бұрын
Yes I do! Usually I just add water. You can activate with gesso ( clear or white - white will give pastel color) or matte medium. I love using them and next to my acrylics are my most used color medium I use for my art journaling /mixed media. They are permanent when activated and dried/cured. K

Love this is ! Question Is fluid matte medium a glue?
@KarenBurchill25 күн бұрын
It is a medium that is often used as an adhesive

When do you paint the angel? You showed painting her on a card; however, I had mine already cut out and painted it with disastrous results as the paper was too fragile. Thanks!
@KarenBurchill14 күн бұрын
I first glued the angel onto the bottle....sealed it with matte medium and once that was dry did the overpainting process....I followed the same steps as I did with the angel on the card. K

@ Thanks so much. No wonder mine didn’t turn out. Will try your method now. Love your tutorials.!!!

@ I will watch the video again because I assume you must have to seal the angel again after painting. ??

27:23 After you glued the angel down to the bottle, then painted her, did you then have to reseal the image? Thank you

I can’t understand what you are calling the transparent blocks. It sounds like you’re saying Ink temp blocks. Thank you for your help.
