Illustory - Review + Tips and Tricks

We completed this create-your-own-story kit recently and I'm sharing our experience. When we do it again, we will definitely make a few changes. Watch this video to see this awesome kit and some tips on how to make it look its best. This is all my personal opinion and experience.

Am I correct in my observation that even pages are on the left and odd pages are on the right? for example, page 1 is on the right and pages 2-3 are a spread.

Hi! It is a curtain wire from Ikea. We just use clothespins to hang the work. We have loved it! www.ikea.com/us/en/p/dignitet-curtain-wire-stainless-steel-60075295/

Do you know if you have to use their pages with the boxes and lines? I'm a graphic designer and would prefer to send in my daughter's illustrations with pre-arranged digital type laid out on 8.5 x 11" paper, just so it looks more like a real book.

I can’t answer this with certainty. I would imagine that you have to use their sheets to print. However, I do have experience with their customer service and it was great at the time! So it may be worth a call if you really wanted to do that.

What size of the photo dod you send. Wallet size ?

I can’t remember the exact size but I remember the directions inside the box were very specific! Do you still have the papers that came in the box? it should be on there. I also dealt with their customer service at one point and they were wonderful so if you have to call and check it will hopefully be a pleasant call 😉
