I was training my LSTM about an hour ago, it does an amazing job of converging accuracy over 80% and sometimes it hits 96% accuracy. Love artificial intelligence in the 21st century. I had a neural net in 1998 and it was good too but todays AI are brilliant.

@@sanjaykrish8719 I had the excellent books A Practical Guide to Neural Nets (1994) and C++ Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic (1995). I did financial analysis by squashing the numbers between 0 and 1. And putting a CSV file through a 3 layer neural net written in C++

Perfect mixture of mathematical detail (no math is too little imo) and visualisations and metaphors for a high level conceputal understanding (very hard to find on this subject).
