english is difficult, for example, reading in a poor light can cause headaches. why there is A in front of poor light, why not just simply say in poor light? why using can, why not could? why there is a S at the end of headache, why not just simply say headache? we English learner may say this sentence in a simple way: reading in poor light could cause headache. but might be a wrong way to say it.
