13:55 she uses different brush modes like darken to get her darker colors with dig help 16:35 lighten to get rid of blacks 24:42 tried multiply but it was working so went to darken again 25:00 darken is useful when you want to saturate an area without saturating the shadow values It only saturates and darkens places where the picked color is darker than the base So if you color pick the shadow you don’t want to be affected, then the picked color is now the same Val and want afffect that shadow area as much And then can saturate that picked shadow color to then saturate and slightly darken the lighter area you want to paint in
