Come join me for the second part of my illustration studio tour, where I work as a freelance illustrator. My artist studio may be small, but it's packed full of art materials, vintage curiosities, artwork, trinkets and tins. I'll be showing you what's inside the boxes that adorn my desk, the units which store my art and craft supplies, and you can meet my 'studio dog' who you have to pet on the way in! Hi Rachel, Thank you for inviting us into your creative world! I loved it😊 So many beautiful items!! I wanted to stay longer and have a cup of tea!! lol When I was a child in elementary school, I loved Art class. Your unpainted face masks brought back memories.. When I was working in counseling I used the unpainted masks to express feelings in sessions. The grieving child would chose to use bright colors, feathers ect. when asked how they thought the world sees them on the front of the mask and the underside how they were actually feeling inside where the world does not see. The majority of the other side was painted black, and displayed their sadness. Art is so therapeutic in so many ways. ... I LOVED your little blue house you created. Do you sell them? Your beautiful dog picture was so unique. You asked for a name ? To me the placid face on the painting whispered " Serenity". There is nothing like a good studio! Where else would we go to escape the world. I hope you dont mind but im stealing yoir idea to wrap ribbon scraps around old spools. I could never find a use for either and now i do.🥰

Aw thank you! 🤗 I love that name for the dog, Orla is a pretty name indeed and the meaning behind it suits her golden coat!🌟🐶 hehe, the view outside my window isn't very inspirational - just rows of houses, hence why I pulled the blind! 😅🙈💛
