@@shaped-by-design One question: when I try to type in the @ and # symbols in the top row, I get errors in Excel. Do I have to change a setting somewhere? Thank you!

Hey @@Artistram3d1 this can hapen from time to time. If you get an error message when you type the @ symbol at the beginning of the field, type an apostrophe (') before the @ symbol (such as '@Photos) to validate the function. Some applications, such as Microsoft Excel, reserve the @ symbol for functions.

Hello, This is a brilliant video; really helpful. I have a quick question about variables which hopefully you may know the answer to! Do you know if you can use variables with multipage PDFs on Illustrator? At the moment I can only get variables to import single-page PDFs, it will not work with multipage ones? It just comes back with errors and does not import the file. Thanks.

Hi. I have the problem when I enter names with special characters as accents, do not appear when they are exported from excel files. the letters are eated but if i write this manually the error does not happen. I have to write hundreds of names and i can't do it by hand one by one.

I'm getting stuck because all of the files are exporting with the same exact file name, which means it replaces the last one each time. Am I missing a step?

Hi Katie. Just thinking of possible reasons for this. Have you set the Batch export to Data Set from the Source dropdown menu and then set the file name to Data Set Name? See the video at this time stamp. Hope it solves the problem. Gary 👍 kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4u8mJWonr6Fj6s

already solved, it was because of Savin as pdf not exporting as jpg or png... we have to select first checkbox instead of second... the one with save as override... :)
