Hi. Really Thank you for developing that script and make it for free. It working all Nicely. But In my illustrator. it create more empty artboards too. Ex. if there are 114 svg elements it create 114 artboards and another emplty 114 artboard too. all 228 artboard. it happen every time. double artboards. ones with elements and it create another empty artboards too. Can I know how i fix that. Thanks

I would call this a 1bpp (one bit per pixel) image, not a bitmap. Bitmap almost always means any sort of raster image in my world. I've never before encountered a case where bitmap refers to images with one bit per pixel.

This didn't work for me because I had multiple artboards (2) in my ai files. It only took the first one. I ended up opening small batches of 25 of my 74 files in illustrator and using the script to SaveDocAsPDF all at once. It was very quick and I just merged my pdfs to get 148 page pdf. Otherwise this would have been great.

Hi Gary I am trying to animate and arrow fired into a target using a button to make this happen. Any idea then save it an interative pdf?

Hello, This is a brilliant video; really helpful. I have a quick question about variables which hopefully you may know the answer to! Do you know if you can use variables with multipage PDFs on Illustrator? At the moment I can only get variables to import single-page PDFs, it will not work with multipage ones? It just comes back with errors and does not import the file. Thanks.

Can I do it in existing pdf? because it seems in "InDesign" you cannot open a pdf file and edit it to make it interactive.

I hope you're still checking comments on posts this old because I've walked through this a half-dozen times and it seems like it should be working perfectly. But when I click the open button, about 1/4 of the menu shows up immediately, with the other 3/4 off the page, then it flies in from the right like it's supposed to and shows the whole menu. Then when I click the close button it reverses the animation but only to the point where 1/4 of the menu is showing up and that part just stays on the screen forever. Any ideas?
