To make capsule shape, draw a rounded rectangle -> Press A key to select direct selection and pull over the all corner anchor points inwards, when you satisfy stop pulling. thats it. ❤️

You've just used an inner stroke and outer stroke gradient. I mean, your title isn't misleading, but it could be more in depth. Example: by using the Properties panel to add more effects. Such as shadows using Transform, Copy and Blur, or stickers using many strokes, offset path, and drop shadow.

making a circle -> using scisors to cut it in half -> using pen tool to reattach both halves together.... or you could've just made a rectangle and round the edges lol ; same outcome, 10x faster

i did as you told with caussian blur, but I don't see any blur in my image. i don't know why. and when I put rectangular colour behind my object, white space inside the object stays. how I can delete it? and If I clear appearance before i do rectangular tool, i don't see any strokes anymore in my box

for some reason the document raster settings did not work. so after trying out several things I turned the gaussian blur off and on and then it worked.

The problem with this technique is that it does not scale well. Don't use it for logo's! 60pt width will stay 60pt, so only the middle gap changes upon resize. Still awesome for posters and such!
