that's kinda bug, try keep gradient slider inside the character and expand from smallest number like 3 or 5 or restart your Illustrator

@@nobudesign I also tried using the cut shortcut key. Then it is pasted out as a whole. The control points of the circle are not independent, they are still the same as before.
