One simple detail is the completely unique color palate of this series to ANY other skyblock world I've ever seen: Wood, Prismarine, Bone blocks, and sea lanterns. Hilarious that the easiest and fastest material to farm building blocks out of would be prismarine from a guardian farm...

If you use carpet mod to attack and eat food in your offhand at the same time, you need to open chat for it to work. I have no idea why, but otherwise your character just won't eat.

1.17 has done so much for skyblock and other void challenges, it's amazing : moss that gives dirt and wood via azalea tree, seeds and wheat and bonemeal... azalea tree can even be player-less farmed ! i'm glad mojang are continuing to improve this forgotten aspect of progression, it's really the most important part of minecraft. Terrain generation stuff can only go so far. Edit : and i almost forgot dripstone+cauldron generation of lava and powder snow, shulker reproduction...

ttl is short for "time to live" which is to say that the entry in the entity data saying that the golem has been seen recently will be deleted after the listed time (although the command may interpret this data to give you the amount of time left until that timestamp instead of the timestamp itself)

Ilmango, please never be ashamed of not having perfect Minecraft knowledge, especially regarding such a specific thing as the maximum enchantment level of Frost Walker : it is a useful enchantment, but certainly not as commonly found or frequently used as, for example, Unbreaking. The lava bucket is immensely powerful, so much so, could it be considered that unlocking it has now put the game to it's "late-game" point, or is there something more to do to get there? Either way, the bucket unlocks furnaces, pistons, basically anything there is to need, so this is quite useful. Can't wait to see where it goes from here!

I'd say this counts as lategame now - the lava bucket (well, actually piglin bartering, but close enough) is really the last thing that locks a large amount of different items, and now most things they'll be doing will more be for getting one specific item. The ways the mod adds for getting a lot of the items are plenty interesting, though, even for after having quartz.

yeah i would consider it late-game at this point. Left to do is get to the nether to farm the last remaining things, such as quartz (from piglin bartering) for observers or blazes for blaze rods in order to get to the ender dragon. ^^ I do not know if ilmango had any other goals in mind.

There's a carpet script that lets you see villager scare info above their heads (useful for iron farm weirdness like what you had today) and it shows the cooldown for when they last saw a golem.

About the data entity command: ttl probably means "time to live". At least thats what its meant in the Tcp-IP network protocol if i remember correctly. In that occasion it could mean the Value of "golem_detected_recently" still "lives" true for another X ticks

I have noticed you can afk attack while simultaneously eating food (using /player [name] attack interval 600 plus /player [name] use continuous) but only if you have your inventory or the pause menu open. Otherwise it just spams right click so you never finish eating.

Villagers can’t path find over rails btw. This was a change meant to help people who run long rail tracks on the surface of the over world from constantly hitting mobs and getting turned around.

If you want you can apply the speedrun verison of HOTV here. Have your villager incased as in video but build a small platform (5x5 around workstation), at minuim 112 above workstation (do like 128 to be safe). Bulid this setup next to an outpost for ease. Then kill pillager for bad omen, bring another pillager with you to villager, raid starts but wave loaded due to that one pillager, kill it, wait 15 sec and you got HOTV.

I would like a mod that allows for a lightning rod to be placed on an obsidian block that can change it to lava with a lightning strike. You would still have to be given at least 1 obsidian to start with but it feels better to me than having it gifted or purchased.

Your OP enchantments seem to be doing more harm than good. First thorns, now punch, and later a fire aspect sword could potentially make a mob set you on fire. Putting every enchantment just because you can doesn't actually help you, at least in survival.

If you go back to an older minecraft version you can get 64 end pirtal frames 64 bookshelbes 64 obsidian and 64 enchantment tables, so yes, it is possible to get more lava (without dripstone) in a slyblock world

I did a floating village on a boat that I used as a raid farm. The top of the boat was an iron golem farm (Bedrock, so it takes a full village) with the postern of the boat as a spawning platform that dumped onto the water deck (soul campfires and a lava blade over hoppers). I also had issues with mobs often spawning below (even on carpet), on the fences of the sides, and raid effects sometimes failing to summon a raid (never had it stop midway, however). Obviously, I had to go up to shoot the witches (though iron golems would sometimes solve that for me). If you had to do this often, having such a setup should work.

If a pillager dies with the flame enchantment's fire, it won't count as a player kill i think, because i kept killing banner guys at an outpost and just wouldn't get the bad omen effect with my bow.

FYI, the knockback and punch enchantments only deal horizontal knockback, no matter the direction/aim of the arrow or player

I'm sure for hero of the village you just need to kill a pillager from the final wave of enemies, so you still need a player kill but only the final wave, explains why you missed it a couple of times even with player kills the final wave all died to the void.

A boat at the spawn platform could have helped you. Because raid mobs would get stuck in those boats and I assume that puch wouldnt knock them out of the boats and therefore they were easy kills. Or would punch do that? Anyway, I think its amazing what you are pulling off here!
