It's really great to see that you've settled in so well. I hope that you're not experiencing too much culture shock. How are you coping with "English" English? There are some definite, and potentially embarrassing, differences. Don't admire someone's pants, they will think you're talking about their underwear. Never, ever, say "fanny-pack" while in the UK. It's called a bum-bag which may not sound much better to you but "fanny" has an altogether different usage over here. These minor quibbles aside, have a great time and don't waste a minute. There'll be plenty of time to sleep when you're back home. No need to worry about your safety as long as you're sensible (we don't have mass shootings)…...……...………………………………..the old man by the sea.
