You nailed it. I've installed this model 7 times now. The step most people miss is that you have to add the bumpers under the seat to raise the seat (slightly) when you install the bidet. In this video, you did point out that you had bumpers installed already. That's necessary, as the bidet will raise the BACK of the seat slightly. That's a problem, as it transfers weight (when you sit down) to the HINGE of the toilet seat. Over time, you can wear out or BREAK the hinge if you don't correct the imbalance. You need to support the seat (front, and near the back) at roughly the height of the seat hinge. That is why you install the bumpers. Amazon even sells this bidet as a set with some bumpers. Good idea to buy the set, if you don't already have the bumpers.

Good for you flagging this. It took maybe two years, but my seat cracked and broke over time because I didn't have the bumpers. I didn't even know about them when I bought the bidet but I realized the problem after the seat broke.

Wow! I was gonna pay a handyman ($80) to do this. Now I know I can do it myself. Thank you so much!!

Well done! I dropped a small washcloth and sponge down the nearly empty tank to sop up the remaining 1/4 cup H20 so I had no drips when I disconnected the fill line. Of course, retrieved them before proceeding. Also, broke a toilet seat by NOT following your directions to add the extra three bumpers...luckily easily replaced it with a wood grain model.

Thank you for sharing this, hard time with the hose to get on like you said. It worked better if you just use a lighter to soften the plastic to go over the stud. I'm running into leaking on the coupling, used tape. Any ideas man

Thank you for the great video. Mine came with the nozzle separately, how do I fix it to the bidet? Can you please advise, thank you

It took a while for me to do because I forgot to put the washer on the adapter so had to take it off. But then I have a raised toilet seat I had to put on top of the bidet for my elderly mom. So it slants a bit downward. The main issue I’m having is that once I put the coupler on the hose back in the adapter and turned the water back on, it is leaking. I tightened as much as I could. What is the issue? Not tight enough? Do I need a man’s strength to really make it tight? For me, I got it as tight as it would go. Either I call in an expensive plumber just to tighten it or we can’t flush it without the water flow.

I could not unscrew the hose connected to toilet. Its too tight. Plumbers are charging $165.00 to install a bidet.

Some sites say you have to turn off the T valve when not in use or else it’ll leak. Is that the case with this model?
